Yama Sushi is a good Japanese restaurant in Mars PA. They offer lots of different Japanese dishes. I got the maki combo which was delicious and had great quality fish. They forget to give me soy sauce all the time! I’ve been coming here once a month (at least) for the past two years on my lunch break and I end up not being able to eat my lunch 75% of the time because sushi without soy sauce is gross (I don’t eat the other sauces). Even after I double check with the person at the register to make sure they gave it to me. I also tried the hibachi shrimp for the first time a few days ago and was underwhelmed; the fried rice tasted dry and bland, the shrimp was overcooked and the sauce tasted like flavored water. It may be time for me to find my new go-to sushi restaurant…sad because I’ve been a regular here for over 4 years.

Definitely one of the best sushi places I’ve been to in a while. Staff was friendly and food was very good. The chestnut cake was very good as well. We were told it was the last one and it did not disappoint. Our waiter told us that they fly in their ingredients from Japan which was a nice touch

Very friendly local restaurant. I got the Sushi lunch special (added the sweet shrimp). Rice was good. Held together well and good taste. Much better than another local place and more affordable. Would recommend trying them out. Bubble tea was good too.
