Honestly i don’t know why they have a 3.9 rating. Ive been going here for sushi for almost a full year now and they never disappointed me once. I’ve had a majority of their rolls too, and they’re so delicious! The service is great too. Waitresses were very sweet & quick!

Ordered through UberEats – sushi and sashimi combo, phoenix roll and bottle of water. Food was terrible, bottle of water was good (but even that was Evian and not Fiji as pictured on UberEats). I threw away more than half of this order. Tuna was inedible, phoenix roll was sloppy and inconsistent. Tempura shrimp inside was rubbery. Not enough soy sauce packets based on food ordered. Knife work on the sashimi was lazy and the thickest cuts I’ve ever seen (not a good thing). Not worth the price

Delicious sushi! My kani salad was the best I’ve had in a very long time. Tempura shrimp roll was such a big portion and super tasty.

I never write food reviews, but I just had the worst sushi roll of my life. I’ve ordered from here for years and the food is NEVER fresh. Unfortunately my main sushi place was too busy so I settled for Yama. The shrimp tempura in my roll has without a doubt been sitting out all day and was very rubbery and stale. The roll is inedible and getting tossed (-$16), but I also ordered beef udon which wasn’t that bad, just average and very overpriced. After spending an outrageous $37 here I will surely never order here again. [UPDATE 10 minutes later]: The food is making me very sick

We just ordered takeout for the first time ever at Yama sushi. The presentation the bag that it comes in and we even got a free appetizer dish on our order over $100 couldn’t be more impressed by the service and the presentation and the taste of the food Great work Yama. We will be back the dishes we ordered were Osaka roll Yama roll Pink lady roll and Alaska roll. The Yama roll is very pretty

The ratio of rice to fish or asparagus or sweet potato is 2:1. They also lack to add rice wine vinegar to their rice when preparing their sushi. Service was fine but disappointed in their rolls.

So disappointed with sushi we ordered today for my office. Rice was not fresh you can tell it was cooked a day or two ago. Ikura sushi tasted so fishy I had to throw them out. Yellowtail roll had so much crunch mixed in that none of us could taste the actual fish. I had to break into the roll in order to see that minimum fish was there and mostly crunch . I cannot stand when restaurants take advantage of their customers. This place is lucky that I had no time to go back and show them their yellowtail roll without yellowtail. The rest of the fish was not fresh at all. Everyone in my office complained!! We will never order from them again. Do not take advantage of people who do take out !
