This is a pretty small counter-serve spot that serves mostly Middle-Eastern wraps. I got the beef and labneh saj, which came with ground beef, tomatoes, and strained yogurt, wrapped in saj bread.

This wrap was very large. The full thing weighed almost a pound, and was extremely long. The only way to actually eat it was to cut it in half.

Personally, I wasn’t a fan of this – it just had too much fat. The not-lean ground beef and labneh that tasted more like white sauce than yogurt would’ve been enough by itself, but the saj was just soaked in a ton of oil. The oil was just too much in this case compared to the amount of fat in everything else.
It’s the kind of meal that tastes good for a couple bites, but then you’re not looking forward to finishing the rest of this, and you don’t feel good after eating it.
The spice mix was at least decent, as were the vegetables

Also, the wrap did not hold its shape at all , which made it a pain to eat and resulted on eating individual ingredients off a plate

This is pretty expensive – coming it at around 17 bucks for the full thing. It is pretty large like I mentioned, but a basic beef wrap without anything fancy shouldn’t cost this much.

Overall, this is unhealthy food you don’t feel good about eating. 5/10

My first visit to Yalla didn’t quite land for me — too many pickled elements where I was hoping for something warmer and more rounded. Still, the place stayed on my mind, so I gave it another try.

This time I mentioned my preference to the hostess, who took it in stride and pointed me toward a safer option.

I ordered the grilled kefta. It was aromatic without being heavy; cinnamon stood out most, followed by a gradual, steady heat that lingered lightly between bites.

A side of falafel with tahini was excellent — crisp exterior, soft interior, and well-balanced spice.

The hostess was friendly and easy to talk to, and the whole meal felt relaxed rather than hurried.

Delicious wraps on saj bread. Falafels and chicken wraps are very good. Cooks are always pleasant. Arabic music play in background.

This take out Palestinian restraunt hit the spot and is definitely worth stopping by.

The bread is chewy and crispy at the same time. It works well with both fillings without covering up any of the flavors. The mix of the beets falafel and veggies played nicely together and the eggplant was well seasoned.

The cost was very reasonable for what your getting. She was really nice and the food came within 5 minutes or so which is really fast. We were expecting to wait for a while but ended up being way early to our next appointment instead.

Overall a great place!

I had an absolutely amazing experience here. The food was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and made with love. I had the pleasure of meeting some of the humblest, kindest people, and their hospitality made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back.

Outstanding spot to pick up some lunch. The kefta wrap was juicy and well seasoned, and complimented nicely by the fermented hot sauce and tahini. The falafel was flavorful and light. My wife enjoyed the Fityr saj, which was a nice vegetarian option.

Service was good. I am an Arab and I wanted to support and like this place so bad, But I was disappointed. I ordered a side of falafel and it was fine (nothing special), the tahini sauce was great, but the shawarma saj wasn’t good(I liked the saj bread wrap only), but the chicken inside the wrap was in pulled chunks and has no flavor, not even grilled or tenderized as a chicken shawarma should be. It was white pulled chicken with summac seasoning but it’s nothing close to a real shawarma… Sadly, I wanted to support. I hope to improve the quality.

I eat a lot of Arabic food. I found the food at Yalla Seattle really exceptional. Helpful explanations of exotic stuff, at least to me. No seating but they told us we could eat it at bar next door if we bought a drink. (If? Inconvenience me more, please.) So we did. And a good time was had by all. Took home a bunch of way above average side dishes.

This is by miles one of the best middle eastern / Lebanese food I have had outside the middle east. I just got back from Lebanon a month ago and was really struck by how fresh, flavourful and true to taste the food was here! We came back here 3 times in our 2 day visit to Seattle, I’m honestly very impressed by the owner’s perfection of recipes, Taylor’s place is a must if you are visiting Seattle and you enjoy middle eastern food. The owner herself was amazingly warm, friendly and hospitable like the culture of the food. We can’t wait to come back and try the entire menu! Wish we had access to this quality of food at home in Vancouver. Thanks Taylor and team, we will be back!

I wish it was open every day of the week. I crave it all the time.

Order at the window, no seats, definition of hole-in-the-wall.

Food blows my mind it’s so good. Lots of unique items I don’t see other places, everything I’ve tried has been really tasty.
