I have been going to Yalla for several months now, and I am convinced it has the best and freshest food in the SW area. I have had food catered, eaten there and ordered take out. Everything is great, but perhaps the highlights for me are the spicy green hummus, red pepper hummus, chickpeas and lentils, traditional steak wraps and the Jerusalem salad. Both rice options are extremely flavorful. I don’t find the spicy rice too spicy like their spicy sauces. The habanero sauce is unlike any other hot sauce I have ever had.

What an incredible experience! It’s so nice to find koshari in Mokena and Yalla’s is DELICIOUS! Fresh, tasty, simple…and the hot sauce is pretty darn good too! The authentic food doesn’t stop there…snacks and sodas from across the Middle Eastern make the meal. I am so glad I’m a short drive away: Yalla is a new favorite!!!

Had Yalla today for the first time and honestly one of the best middle eastern cuisine in the Chicago suburbs I’ve had so far. Since the moment we walked in the store, we were greeted with smiles and the amazing smells. The store was clean and spacious, the staff were super friendly and treated us like family. We ordered a mixed grill family platter which came with so much food that was all so good, the kebabs and chicken were juicy and delicious, a very generous amount of rice, hummus, bread sauces and salad. Highly recommend this spot if you’re wondering where to get middle eastern cuisine, their menu is vast, food is delicious and the staff are wonderful. Will be coming back!
