This is definitely an experience, I wouldn’t come here often since the prices are really high, but you are paying for really high quality food and service. I came during the week at lunch time for the lunch deal, since it’s cheaper and you get a full meal — appetisers, main course, drink and coffee. The detail put into the food was really great and the freshness that came from the sushi and the little seasoning they would add, like fresh lime, made the flavour of the fish pop out. Will definitely be coming back in the future for more!

Such a great sushi/ Japanese spot in Lisbon! The place looks amazing , beautiful decor, nice bar, and cozy colors. The food was absolutely delicious, definitely one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had lately. The staff and manager were super friendly and made us feel welcome. They were also so sweet with my daughter, even offering her a little drawer and taking time to explain the menu. Highly recommend!

Seeing the sushi chefs at work right in front of you makes that you’re always a little bit on edge. Their sharp focus seeps into you, increasing your expectations of the food, which they easily beat.
The food itself is something you need to experience for yourself. It was my first time in a world-class sushi restaurant and my second best sushi restaurant doesn’t even come close.
Even though the place was packed the staff remained friendly and delivered a high-end service, always ready to answer questions about the exclusive menu found nowhere else

This place is outstanding! We went late so the kitchen was about to close but the waiter helped us pick an excellent selection of items. He even checked in on us to see if we wanted anything before the kitchen closed. The food was so delicious. The wagyu was unbelievable – no words. One of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Now there’s just one issue, the waiter I assume was having a bad day since she kept being very passive agressive and interrupting the conversation with my wife. This was one waiter in specific, the other ones were lovely.
The cherry on top was when this waiter added a “recommended gratuity tip” on the check without mentioning it at all and got offended when I asked her to remove it, be mindful of that.

This is the best restaurant in Lisbon hands down. The service is great, ambience on point and most important of all the food is amazing. We could tell that thought was put into every dish. I highly recommend the Hot yakuza(roll with a touch of cream cheese), Spider roll, Gunkan KOB(melts in your mouth ), Gunkan Toro! The Bolo de banana was a classic one to end with. We’ve been to Yakuza every time we’ve ended up in Lisbon! You should not miss it!

I usually keep my expectations low for Asian restaurants in Europe, but everything here—from the sushi to the sashimi—was incredibly fresh and genuinely delicious. There’s a slight modern or fusion touch, but it never takes away from the core Japanese authenticity. The cocktails were excellent as well! Prices are on the higher side, but if you’re craving Japanese food, this place is absolutely worth it!

The place is absolutely wonderful — it has such a warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally polite; I’d like to highlight the girl with brown hair in a ponytail who served us — she was incredibly kind, attentive, and courteous. The food was truly delicious and definitely worth trying ❤️. It was a lovely and positive experience that I highly recommend to tourists who want to taste genuinely flavorful and unique sushi. A special compliment to the interior — it’s stunning, original, and perfectly captures the atmosphere. Truly impressive!

Reserve now. Don’t look further just reserve. The highest quality Wagyu I have had outside of Japan, in a very long time. And incredibly reasonably priced. Plus it’s a whole vibe here. This was my first dinner in Lisbon and i’m so excited for what other restaurants the city holds for me! 5 stars for Yakuza by Olivier without even thinking about it.
