Hidden Gem Near ‘Brussels Marriott Hôtel Grand Place’
We stumbled upon this delightful little restaurant on our last day in Brussels. Initially drawn in by the enticing dish samples, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm hospitality of the owner couple and the delicious, authentic Thai/Asian cuisine.
The Wonton Noodle Soup was a comforting bowl of savory broth, the Chicken Pho was flavorful and hearty, and the Thai Basil Fried Rice was perfectly seasoned. But the highlight for us was the crispy, juicy Fried Chicken Wings – a must-try!
The traditional Thai condiments added a delightful touch, elevating the flavors of each dish. We’re so glad we found this gem and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

There are lots of Thai food choices in downtown Brussels. This is one of the good ones.
The food and service were great. We had the traditional dishes: chicken curry, Pad See Ewe, chicken fried rice. All good.
Added bonus was that the outside seating was at a perfect corner where you can people watch on two streets while enjoying your food.

The Pad Thai here was very good, the soup was okay. Our fried shrimp appetizer came after our food and wasn’t good at all.
This restaurant is conveniently located of you’re visiting Ancienne Belgique for a show and that’s its most important quality. The food was okay, but we were a bit disappointed having read all the excellent reviews here. We also expected the restaurant and menu’s to be a bit cleaner.
After our dinner we received the check: items and prices scribbled illegibly on a piece of paper. A bit sketchy if you ask me.

Very disappointing experience. The interaction with the owner felt unnecessarily confrontational, and a minor issue escalated in a way that made the visit uncomfortable. The food did not meet our expectations and several dishes were not enjoyable. Overall, it was not good value for money. Based on this visit, I wouldn’t return and would choose another restaurant instead.

The food was quite good, I quite liked the bo bun and also the fried noodles with beef. However, they only accept cash and Payconic. That’s just unacceptable in this day and age.

Friendly service, this has been our go to place for Thai/Vietnamese food for almost 20 years now. The crunchy noodles are insanely good and here is one of the only places we know where to eat it that way. Service is always friendly if you are friendly to them and even our 2 daughters had a good time here.
