Yakamos is a hidden gem that delivers an incredible dining experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home.
The menu offers a fantastic selection of authentic Mediterranean and Turkish dishes, all made with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Every dish we tried was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. The kebabs were tender and juicy, the hummus was rich and creamy, and the Turkish cheesecake was the perfect sweet ending to our meal.
Service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Whether you’re a fan of Mediterranean cuisine or trying it for the first time, Yakamos is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!
We went to celebrate one of our coworkers on their new home, and we had such a great time! The atmosphere at the steakhouse was so lovely and welcoming. The service was excellent, our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the special, the stuffed lobster ravioli, and it was amazing. The salad bar was fresh and had a great selection. Overall, it was a perfect evening with great company, great food, and great vibes!
One small complaint: my Four Cheese Mac and Cheese was not cheesy at all. It tended towards dry and maybe overcooked? I expected more of a creamy cheese experience but – alas, no. My wife didn’t like it either. The rest of the meal was divine. Next time I eat here, my side will be mashed potatoes.
My husband and I were served our entrée within five minutes of starting our salad from the salad bar. We weren’t even halfway through our salad when the main course was already arriving at the table.
I politely asked our waitress—who was excellent—if the entrée could be held in the kitchen until we were finished. She told us the chef doesn’t like doing this and that it makes him mad.
That response is completely unacceptable.
When customers are paying $80+ for dinner, they should not be rushed through their meal or made to feel like they are inconveniencing the kitchen by wanting normal dining pacing. This is a sit-down restaurant, not fast food. Quick service is appreciated, but proper pacing is part of good service.
This is Creedmoor—not a high-turnover, fine-dining rush environment—and diners should never feel pressured to eat and leave. Being told the chef “gets mad” for holding an entrée ruined the experience entirely, and I no longer enjoyed what should have been a relaxing evening.
The chef needs to understand the clientele and stop rushing guests out the door. Unfortunately, this experience significantly changed my perception of Yakamoz.
Management — I strongly encourage you to speak directly with your chef about guest pacing and customer experience.
It is not appropriate for a server to tell guests that a chef “gets mad” when asked to delay an entrée. Guests should never feel rushed or uncomfortable for wanting to finish their salad before being served their main course—especially at this price point.
Your waitstaff handled the situation professionally, but this is a kitchen leadership issue. Yakamoz has a loyal customer base, and experiences like this risk driving that loyalty away.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because this restaurant has always been one I enjoyed and recommended—until tonight.
As noted, service was great. Nilay took care of us on the last trip – personable, engaging, funny, all the while taking care of every need.
Yakamoz is a quiet restaurant even when full, and the decor is consistent with the quality of the food. It’s a great place to take friends or clients, will definitely go there again!
