This is not the place if you are looking for authentic north Indian flavor. The food was pretty bland, kinda americanized.

I came here for dinner and there was no one else in the restaurant, but everyone else is missing out by not coming here! I am obsessed with momos, and the Yak and Yeti definitely did not disappoint! I got the entree of momos, garlic naan and some lamb appetizer to split with my dad (sorry I have early onset dementia and can’t remember the name!) and it was the perfect portion size because we both finished everything and were the perfect level of fullness. I’ve had momos before, but this restaurant has a signature sauce that they serve it with that makes them to die for! I could probably drink the sauce by itself! The naan was addicting, and not too much of a strong garlic taste. Everything was warm and delicious, served with tamarind and (cucumber?) chutney. I’m not sure but one of the chutneys was green and it was absolutely delicious. I even used the cabbage garnish as a vessel to eat the sauce, it’s that good. I would definitely recommend coming here. I almost forgot! I got samosas too and they were huge!!! But very good and filling :)!

This is our favorite spot in Anchorage. Once you go, you will be craving it, often. Good, hot, affordable, flavorful, authentic eats for everyone- Veg, GF, etc! My wife and I love sharing an app and naan, before the heaping entree of momos. So happy we found this place.

Wow we loved the meal and appetizers. Combination meal had enough for 2 people and was very tasty. Also glad for a vegetarian samosa.

We love the Palak Paneer and get it regularly. I’m always torn when I visit Yak & Yeti because the Nepalese dishes are wonderful but the dessert dishes are amazing. Especially the Moreo. This could definitely be a desert destination point in itself.

Very clean and simple place. Food seems more authentic Nepalese food than the other restaurant. Simple and delicious flavor. I would recommend this place certainly.
