Amazing experience! We got our baby’s food first and were given a plate and kids cup appropriate for him. We loved that! The food was so delicious too!! We enjoyed our noodles and the wonton soup was a 10/10.

I saw this restaurant when I went to the Asian grocery store and thought I had to try it. “Yai” translates to grandma so I knew it had to be good. The menu selection was diverse enough to accommodate everyone with a mix of some Thai home dishes that I don’t usually find at other Thai restaurants. The flavor profile was just like back home in Thailand. If you’re looking for authentic flavors look no further. The food was so good I forgot to take a picture of it before I finished all of it.

Stopped in for lunch as I needed to shop at the Viet Hoa supermarket that this Yai Thai restaurant is attached to. You can come in through the restaurant door adjacent to the supermarket door on the right and go from the restaurant straight into the store. The atmosphere of the restaurant is clean. It’s quaint in size but roomy. The service was excellent. The food was delicious and the ingredients tasted fresh . Everything in my meal was cooked to perfection. You get to decide your heat (spicy) preference from 1-5. They offer plenty of condiments to go with your meal complimentary. There’s a tv for viewing in the dining area. And you can view the store from the restaurant . I would definitely go back and try different dishes on their pictured and well organized menu.

Good flavors in the Thai peanut dish, but there was a very small amount of chicken. Also be aware there’s no bathroom in the restaurant or the store.

Yummy!

Was craving cashew chicken so I did some research and found this place. And boy am I glad I did.

Definitely different dining in a grocery store (for me), but I suppose Whole Foods and places like that have cafes, so …. We seated ourselves and the waitress brought us water pretty promptly. She double checked our order before placing it, which I always appreciate. I of course, ordered Cashew Chicken (medium) and my dining companion ordered shrimp spring rolls and some curry.

We sat near the tv, I was facing it, and I really enjoyed watching the food preparation while there.

The rolls looked fresh and the peanut sauce looked scrumptious. I refrained from trying them. My cashew chicken was a bit sweet at first (wasn’t expecting it), but definitely grew on me as I ate. I thoroughly enjoyed every last bit of it and will definitely eat there, and likely it, again. If I lived in town I would be a regular for sure.

We checked out the market afterwards and that was a bit of a treat as well.

The food here is excellent! This was our first time here so we were a little unsure. We will definitely come back even though it’s a little out of our way it’s totally worth it. The quality of the meat and vegetables is superb. The staff even made a special plate for my husband that wasn’t on the menu.

I love little hole in the wall, mom and pop shops like this. In this case, it’s literally a mom and pop dual running this restaurant that’s technically inside of the Viet Hoa supermarket.

We came here in search primarily for Boat Noodles and let me tell you, it does not disappoint! The broth is very flavorful and rich, exactly what I was expecting and craving.

We also tried the Drunken Noodles which were pretty good, the Thai Iced Tea and the Thai Iced Coffee. Look at the generous portion size for the drinks! I appreciated that, cause they were so good I didn’t want those drinks to end.

Would definitely recommend coming back. My advice, we got a “medium” spice but it wasn’t spicy at all, so I would recommend maybe going up a level to “spicy” if you’re on the fence.

Overall really good place to eat at for your buck my wife amd i enjoyed it! I ordered the miso ramen with chashu pork i also asked for some pork dumplings on the side, the miso with a spice level of 3 it was really good! I added a bit more of the sauces that they offer to make it a but more spicy to my liking, really good and quick to get your food! As for the drinks the taro boba is fenomenal and not too sweet like all the other places that engulf the boba with so much sugar, this is more naturally sweet tasting!

Seafood drunken noodles were excellent. Thai hot wasn’t spicy but they had thai chilis on the side that helped some. Will be back.
