My colleague and I stumbled upon this place while on a quest for a quick lunch in the area. This place did not disappoint – several great options for veg and non veg, and the service was very fast. Great quality of food.

I had such a wonderful experience at Yafa Hummus in Tracy! The food was absolutely delicious — hands down the best shawarma I’ve had in a long time, juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The tabbouleh was so fresh and vibrant, with the perfect balance of parsley, lemon, and bulgur.

On top of the amazing food, the customer service was excellent — warm, attentive, and welcoming with big smiles that made us feel right at home.

If you’re in Tracy and craving authentic Mediterranean flavors, Yafa Hummus is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!

Clean restaurant. Falafel was great crispy outside fresh herbs inside. Shawarma was good. Lentil soup good. Baba ghanoush was delightfully smoky. Alameda sodas at the fountain (which I like). Hummus tasty. Much, much better than I expected in a sad little strip mall.

Very upset with the treatment by the staff. We went to eat in a bit late, but it was till 30 mins to closure time. The staff started switching off the lights on and off as soon as it was 9, even though we were still eating. It was the most horrible experience I have ever faced in any restaurant.
I am never going back.
The food was not great either, quite ordinary middle eastern food. Quality was significantly small considering the price, specially the amount of meat. Most middle eastern restaurants will fill you up with lots of meat along with rice and bread. They had good quality rice and one pita bread, but the meat quantity was way too less.
My suggestion would be to Try other middle eastern places

Cozy place. Worked out perfect for us. Loved the food. They ran out of white rice which was odd but the food was really good. Wish they had more Mediterranean options other than Chicken shawarma. We got chicken wrap. Chicken shawarma with salad and falafel. Staff was really friendly and quick to serve. Ask for Hatam, he is the best !

It’s always a good sign when you walk into a shawarma place and they have the meat rotating on a shawarma spit.

The food here is delicious and the wraps are very affordable and filling. Staff is friendly (even when people walk in close to closing time) and helpful.

We took our food to go and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend.

Loved this hummus place. The flavors of the food were spot on.
Spicy hummus was so delicious and tad bit tangy.
Tried the bowls with Gyro & bean salad. Another with Chicken shawarma & Mediterranean salad. Both were amazing. Babaganous & Tzaziki were mouthwatering.
Falafels were delectable.
Can’t say enough about the food. Totally worth it.
So going back again soon.

Best Mediterranean food I have ever had! Everything we ordered was perfect – Fries, spicy hummus, pesto hummus, pita and baklava! The pita was soft. Spicy hummus is a must try. Fries are thin cut, crispy and seasoned perfectly. For the baklava they have 3 options – walnut, cashew and pistachio and you can ask to add Nutella to any of them.
Must try! Great food, fast service.

I’ve been coming to Yafa for years and they’ve never disappointed. The falafel wrap is my favorite, they can even make it vegan if you request it. The falafel is so crispy and crunchy on the outside yet so soft and delicate on the inside. The serving size is also very generous. The actual size of the wrap is huge. I can only eat one half and typically save the other half for later in the day. I’m not complaining by any means!

Also, you have to get the French fries here. I think their fries are my favorite fries in general. I have no idea what the seasoning is but it’s amazing. I would even stop by here just for the fries if I just wanted a snack.

They sell baklava as well. The cashew one is delicious. Great texture overall and not too sweet.

The customer service is always friendly. They even have a point system so you get free meal items every now and then if you frequent the place. I would frequent this place even if they didn’t have a points incentive.

Yafa is Palestinian owned and they have their story and photos posted. It’s always lovely to see a restaurants mission statement and how they genuinely love what they serve and just want others to experience the great recipes.

I will continue to the enjoy the food here. I hope they open another location in the east bay in the future. I go to the Dublin and Livermore locations often.
