Yacht Club Subs is a real gem and an easy walk from our hotel. Outstanding subs and even better people. I had the S.O.S.—thin-sliced prosciutto and roast beef with mozzarella, roasted peppers, and veggies—and it was fantastic. Kathie’s Hemingway (Cuban) was just as good. The food was excellent, the staff was fun and welcoming, and we loved chatting with Frank and Steve, who shared some great local dining tips. We’ll definitely be back before we head home.

OK, so I was in Naples for the afternoon cause I had to get a little work done and I was looking for a place to eat. I walked into one of these marina type, waterfront places that were mostly seafood, which was fine but I was kind of in the mood for a sandwich, and I asked the waitress if they had any basic sandwich sandwiches on the menu and before she could answer some guy a few tables over overheard me asking and said “you gotta go over to yacht club subs“ he said it was the best sandwich in town so I figured I’d take his word for it. I paid for my drink and I headed over to yacht club subs walked in the door and was greeted by Lizzy, the Owner and her son, Romeo, lovely people, and asked me what they could get for me. I told Romeo I was in the mood for a turkey sandwich and he said well if you’re in the mood for a turkey sandwich can I recommend “The Pilgrim”? I was in the mood for a turkey sub, but I didn’t know if I was in the mood for Thanksgiving and he promised me it would be the best sandwich I ever had. Now, that’s a pretty tall order, so when he said the best sandwich I’ve ever had, I’m not in Naples very often. I thought I better give it a shot. What’s the worst that could happen? Let me just tell you ……you cannot eat that sandwich standing up. It is hands-down, I don’t even know if it qualifies for a sandwich. It is something else and single-handedly the best sub sandwich I’ve ever had and I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur of family owned sub shops. If you’re ever in the area, anywhere in the vicinity, drive the extra five 10, 15 minutes… one hour if you have to and stop by Yacht Club Subs and Lizzie has got some great stories while you’re waiting for your sub. Now I’m ruined because I’ll never be able to eat a sandwich anywhere again and I’ll never be able to eat anywhere else in Naples ever again….thank you guys!

We are so impressed with this place! The sandwiches are fresh and amazing. We had the turkey and roast beef. These are chef made and you can tell… fresh bread, balsamic drizzle on the turkey, even the pickle garnish was yummy! The place is small, but very cute and clean. We sat and the counter and enjoyed talking to the chef. This is the BEST sandwich place in SW Florida- hands down!!

I stopped in here today for the first time, wow I was blown away! The decor is so cute and nautical themed, the lunch counter is really nice and so is their menu! I had the grab and go tuna and it was made perfect! The right amount of crunch, mayo and was so refreshing! The staff was so helpful, engaging and polite. Got to talk to the owner and her husband who were the sweetest most genuine people. I am so happy I stopped in there today, I left feeling so happy.

Prices are OUTRAGEOUS even for Naples. Quality is not there for the price. I ordered a cypress pesto and had one measley slice of mozzarella. Our tuna sandwich had little to no flavor. Great bread, but that’s it. 1 sub. 1 half sub
2 bags of chips $49. Ouch! Once was enough, we won’t be back.

Stopped by today for the first time and ordered the Italian sub. Outstanding! BY FAR the best sub I’ve had in the SWF area. Very reminiscent of Pronto Italian Sandwiches in Hinsdale Illinois. High quality ingredients and fabulous artisan bread. I’ll certainly return.

Best sandwiches we’ve had in awhile! The ciabatta roll is perfection. Definitely recommend! We combined our trip with visiting the train museum down the block with the kids and LOVED IT ALL.

Have been eyeing this place for many years due to the curb appeal and great ratings. Finally got to try it today and was super underwhelmed. We are major foodies, too.
Very friendly service and the atmosphere was nice outside (hence why I am leaving a 5 star rating on those two categories). But the subs we tried were so bland and disappointing. Naples Italiana cold and Commodore hot.. probably the most flavorful options and they lacked majorly. Even the bread had no flavor. 1 yacht size and 1 submarine, for $36.99. Not sure why the 4.9 star rating… was not blown away by any means and will not return.
