Let’s start with the fact I didn’t know this place existed, we stumbled upon it. The minute we open the door, it felt like fine dining how beautiful the ambiance was. Lili greeted us so pleasantly and made our whole dining experience comfortable. Let’s get to the food. Everything we had was delicious, ( miso soup, coconut curry chicken, kids Lo Maine, monster & treasure sushi and my personal favorite salmon wrap appetizer) we are delighted to come back. My only hope is that they keep the beautiful standard up when they get popular, since this is a new restaurant.

Diana heard about this spot through word of mouth, and I’m so glad she did—Yaba Sushi completely blew me away. This might be the freshest sushi and sashimi I’ve ever had. Every bite was clean and perfectly balanced. The salmon practically melted in my mouth, the tuna was rich and silky, and the scallops were so tender.
Even the presentation was top-notch—beautifully plated on a wooden board with thoughtful little details. The rolls were tight, fresh, and flavorful; You can really taste the quality of the fish here.
If you’re anywhere near Naperville and love sushi, do yourself a favor and check this place out. It’s a quiet gem hiding next to AMC Naperville 16, and it deserves way more attention. ✨

Saw that they were doing their soft opening. Ordered the lunch bento box, shrimp teriyaki. It was delicious! Can’t wait to eat here after watching a movie at AMC.

We ordered two sushi rolls, udon noodles, and steak hibachi. All were excellent. My favorite was the steak hibachi, which I forgot to take a picture of! The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is very nice. I would highly recommend for a lunch/dinner date.
