It’s not very often I can have creole food where I’m from, so I definitely wanted to try this place out. They pride on wanting to be a middle ground for everyone no matter what you are hankering for, and I can happily report that this does not mean a middle ground on flavor.

Excellent jambalaya, wonderfully creamy coleslaw and the brown sugar sauce with the sweet potatoes was perfect. Fried pickles had a great tartness to them and were nice and crunchy without being too overbearing on the breading.

The price is very reasonable as well, $12 for the jambalaya and sides. Makes me wonder who in their right mind would grab a combo at Hardee’s for the same price when this place is right across the street!

Jathan was an awesome server and was a great person to talk to, and helped inform me on the next restaurant I plan to visit. Overall a wonderful visit and more should definitely check this one out!

Ya’ll when I tell you this place is a breath of fresh air! Everything I tasted was so so good! I’ve been DYING for a seafood boil and as soon as I heard that this was offered I didn’t need anymore convincing to try this restaurant. Our waiter was fantastic and had plenty of suggestions.

The seafood boil was delicious and the sauce it came in was flavorful. My fiancé had the meatloaf and I had a bite and the flavor was immaculate! Please go down and try it you won’t regret it!

This was our first visit and they did not disappoint. The server’s were excellent and very friendly. My wife had the crab boil and was blown away with the flavor and portions. I had the shepherds pie with onion rings and Mac & cheese. The shepherds pie was fantastic. Onion rings are super crispy & the Mac & Cheese was spot on. We would definitely recommend.

Couldn’t tell you anything about this place. Got there at 830 on a friday night and place closed. Have talked about this place for weeks and rushed home from out of town for a marriage datenight and closed, like really. We’ll first and last time at the door. Wont waste my time again .

Completely underwhelming experience from the quality of the food to the service. Had such high hopes for months on trying this place. Not sure what happened to the cornbread, it was on the rubber/spongy/bland side. Only Bright spot was Megan that works there, she was really nice.

The entrées were edible the sides were atrocious, the cheese grits were laughable, unseasoned grits with grocery store shredded cheese is a joke. The red beans and rice again unseasoned just tasted like an after thought. Even the uncle Ben’s ready rice from kroger would have been better. A place that markets themselves as a “seafood and soul food” restaurant you’re really lacking in soul. Absolutely was not worth the 55$ price tag.

I dined in with my family of 5. We were sat almost immediately by Napoleon which turned out to be our server. He brought us Mardi Gras beads and we didn’t have to show anything to get them lol. I have to say he has a phenomenal personality and was very knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the crab dip and my wife and kids ordered the sea food boil. I myself ordered the crawfish etoufee and gumbo. For dessert we finished with the bread pudding (which by the way is the portion of half a cake). Our food was phenomenal and required NO SALT! I will say that we spent $156 which is high, however we did try extra stuff with it being our first time in the establishment. It’s unfortunate that we are moving out of state but we can definitely eat here when we visit! I definitely recommend to anyone with a soul lol! Thank you Napoleon for taking care of us!
