Ya Mon is open to provide you with fresh, authentic, and delicious-tasting Caribbean dishes. We opened our first location in Illinois in 2006. We opened our second location in Alpharetta, Georgia in May of 2017. As of October 7, 2025 we have relocated to the Terrace at Windward Plaza in Alpharetta. Between Mellow Mushroom Pizzeria and the Helium Comedy Club.

The food here is NOT good. I am Jamaican so I know authentic food when it’s cooked properly. I spent $115 only to receive nasty food. The curry goat didn’t taste like actual goat meat but rather some other type of beef. The curry shrimp was not tasty at all. The curry used is nasty. I ordered escovitch snapper only to receive brown stew snapper. This was my first time ordering and will be the LAST!!

Went there on Friday with my brother who has talked about this spot for years. I was thoroughly impressed with the authenticity of the flavors! The curry chicken patty was quite a treat. The jerk chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful.

I would visit Ya Mon restaurant in Chicago about 15 years ago. They moved to Alpharetta and now I’ve flown from Chicago down to Alpharetta Georgia visiting Ya mon again. This place is awesome, the owners are husband and wife and they are amazing come support them. Their food is awesome it is amazing they will make food for parties and different events. I had that oxtail today and it was awesome they’re jalapeno mac and cheese is great, their curry chicken is great their Curry gold is good their jerk salmon is good and their jerk chicken is awesome. Definitely have to come out and see them and enjoy some food. It is a eat-in or you can take it out they do have doordash as well. But you definitely have to check out this spot

Everything was delicious!! I ordered the spicy beef patty, spicy chicken patty, cocoa bread, curry chicken rice and peas, jalapeños mac and cheese, and coconut rum cake. I’m craving more right now!!! The customer service was top tier. The inside of the restaurant is a vibe. I definitely will be coming back for more!!!

THEY ARE OPEEENN!!! We have been waiting for their new location to open and of course the food did not disappoint. Excellent service from the sweetest lady who takes orders, packs foods, answers calls…and all with a beautiful smile. And the new spot is very nice and spacious with dine in booths. Definitely give it a try if you haven’t done so.

I have visited this place many times and the oxtail dinner is my favorite. It’s seasoned very well. It also comes with a choice of two sides. My go to sides are the fried plantains and jalapeños mac and cheese. If you visit during busy hours do expect a long wait time for your food to be ready.
