X’s and O’s in Palos Heights is seriously a hidden gem! The staff is always incredibly helpful, welcoming, and genuinely nice. You can tell they care about making sure everyone has a great experience. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and immediately feel taken care of.
The food is amazing too. The tacos are fresh, flavorful, and definitely something I keep coming back for. And the Wednesday half-priced pizza special is unbeatable, great quality pizza at an awesome price.
If you’re looking for great food, great service, and a fun, comfortable atmosphere, X’s and O’s is absolutely worth checking out. I can’t recommend it enough!

Came here on Saturday at 10pm for a quick bite just to get out of the house. My favorite neighborhood bar. Food is absolutely fantastic! Love their saganaki cheese with the little pita bites and their fried buffalo fried shrimp is always delicious. I know, I know, it’s a bar so I should drink but we just wanted good food. Waitress was nice and love that they got pool table. One of my favorite places for some late night food and drinks.

We go there after playing pickleball on Wednesdays and order the 1/2 price pizza and it is delicious. The best part of coming her is our waitress Alyssa! She is friendly always and very efficient. She makes coming here even more awesome !

Came here with my staff yesterday, the food was great and the atmosphere was nice. The bartender was extremely racist towards us, she kept making extremely nasty comments to us, asking other customers were we too loud for them, and they kept saying No and we were not doing anything wrong. She showed another customer my receipt of a BLT that I purchased stating that I did not leave a tip and tried to embarrassing us. We TIP cash!!! But why leave her anything. The fact that we were treated that way was unacceptable. The fact that she didn’t even know she was serving some extremely professional women and CPD, we were judged by the color of our skin. We graciously left without saying a word. This is 2025, this needs to stop.

We love the food it’s great and fresh. Our favorite bartender is Alyssa. She goes above and beyond always anticipating customer’s needs. Alyssa is friendly and professional. The food and drink specials/happy hours keep us going back. Go see Alyssa.

A group of 9 stopped in after leaving our xmas party. I sat at the bar for almost 30 minutes with two bartenders present and not one acknowledged me. One bartender with a bad lip filler job was rude and dismissive. I keep hearing her say derogatory thing about us to her customer who was sitting next to me The lack of service was so bad that we complained to the manager. He spoke with her but it still didnt help. He ended up apologizing with a round of lemon drop shots. I notice that when she served the white customers she would pour there drink and then recoeve payment but with my (African American) group we had to give our cards before she completed the service. We weren’t running tabs. It got so bad that I ordered 7 drinks she poured two shots and when a Hispanic group of ladies came in she went to the second bartender and told her to finish my order by making two lemon drops. She the cashed me out without taking having the last 3 drinksade. She was very aware that I was ordering 7 drinks because I told her when she started to take the order. I heard her whisper on two separate occasions to customers sitting next to me. ” if “THESE PEOPLE” are to loud I can get the manager for you. We’re we loud? Not at all. I said something to her about her statement and her reply was “that’s my friend, im tslking to my friend” I said to her but you are trying to encourage him to make a complaint where there’s no need to and thus is the srvond tome I’ve heard you do this. She walked away. I told the manager what she was doung and all he haf to say was ‘Ignorr her”. At that point I knew thst I would spend another dime in there. There was many things wrong with her service that it’s too much to type. This lady was definitely racist. We were the only blacks in the bar we came because one of our non-melanated co workers suggested the place and the girl treated her like she was covered in melanin I don’t go where I’m not wanted. I can and will spend my money where they like me or can pretend they do. Do better little lips. I will say the drink prices were cool but she made sure not to pure us a good drink.
