Stopped at this place prior to my travels ✈️. Easily located, more than enough parking spots, the servers are nice and create a good vibes. Very attentive. The atmosphere was very bright and good energy. The food came out pretty quick very little wait time. Good was really good. Full of flavor. The price was also very reasonable. Any locals in the area looking for a good authentic Mexican restaurant this will be it.

I went here on a whim…I was trying to uplift a good girlfriend of mine and she suggested we eat here because we had never been. Listen, I’m a foodie from Chicago and I can’t play when it comes to my food. With that said this place did not disappoint!! I had the pineapple steak meal (not sure of the actual name) but just know the meal comes in a pineapple. It was suggested by the waiter and it was amazing. The waiter (Ivan- I hope that’s how you spell it) was also amazing letting them know about my allergies and doubling checking to make sure I was doing good. We had a great time and will surely be back again.

My son’s was really craving some good Mexican food and we happened across this beautiful place..had never been here before in all our visits to Springfield so we were pleased and surprised about how fast our order was ready and…words can’t describe how tasty the tortilla chips smelled..and Oh my goodness the taste..absolutely drooling now as I write this post.. He had gotten so much food in his order that it was more than enough for two people to share.. They did such a phenomenal job.. so if Mexican food is your favorite place to visit..Please give this place a try.. We are so glad that we did.

Ordered.cheese nachos to go since it’s Lenten season. They gave me a small amount of chips with shredded cheese and not cheese sauce. So when it quickly cooled the cheese was hard and nasty. Furthermore, I was over charged for this horrible dinner.

We came for lunch on Saturday and was pleasantly surprised that they have lunch specials till 3pm on the menu. Food was good, waiter was great. Place was not busy so I’m not sure how they would handle bigger crowds. Only real complaint was the rice being super soft and mush like. But would come visit again if ever in the area.

no love or care in it. I went out of my way thinking it was a good place to eat due to the reviews, but I could not be more wrong. This food is an insult to authentic food everywhere. The enchiladas my mom got were a disgusting they were rolled up with a plain tortilla barley meted cheese and had a questionable filling. The nachoes I had were an experiment. The pork was dry, plain and unseasoned. The chips were burnt, and the ones that were not were wet from the lettus. The watery salsa that was barley a quarter full was the best part of the meal.

Xochimilco is one of Mexican restaurant in Springfield. It is close by Interstate 55. So, it is good place to stop by while you are traveling through I-55. This restaurant has very good food, nice service, wonderful environment with amazing decoration. In addition, this restaurant has a clean restroom that makes you feel comfortable. Thank you.

Great atmosphere and food dang good. Chimichangas were very small but there were two of them, but not as fried as much as i like them…still very good flavor. Burrito was enormous …carne, pulled chix and beef, and ground beef. Chix salad good, but i say big deal to that one. Get that anywhere. Salsa bland but the blanco queso was fantastic-chips made in-house
