The best upscale Mexican restaurant in Chicago! The food is the finest from steak to appetizers, it’s amazing and authentic. Not one shred of the typical Americanized version of Taco Bell style Mexican food. The service and staff are wonderful. The margaritas and other beverages are also fabulous. The menu has something for everyone’s budget too! Thank you for a great dining experience and showing Americans what authentic upscale dining is all about!

Was lookingfor a new good Mexican restaurant to celebrate my mom’s birthday. After reading reviews and seeing pictures I said this is the place to go. Boy they did not disappoint. Great service, very attentive and to top it off the food was awesome. The whole family loved it. Would definitely recommend going here.

The food was excellent and service impeccable! Lucy was so attentive and nice. Would highly recommend this spot for authentic & delicious Mexican food.

I saw a post about this restaurant on social media and decided to check it out and boy was about it. Everything from the drinks, food, and service were great. We ordered the Panela XO and the Queso Azteca for apps and they both tasted amazing and had great presentation. My entree was the Carne XO and came with steak shrimp in a spicy sauce, with mashed potatoes. It smelled so good that I forgot to take a pic and the taste was even better. The service was excellent and all the staff was super friendly and attentive. I’m definitely being more friends back here to eat.

Xochimilco Restaurant offers a unique experience that you’ll never see at any other Mexican-fine dining restaurant. Apart from excellent, timeless cocktails, Xochimilco dabbles in the most creative palate soothing, home reminiscent creations and this pistachio halibut (gone tomorrow sorry about that), is nothing short of that. Their customer service is only surpassed by their ability to extend the experience to a familial one, drawing you back home every time you’re in the mood for another flavorful creation. Looking forward to this cuisine cruise at Taste of Ravenswood this weekend.

Great restaurant with really authentic food. The family who runs this place is very friendly and goes out of their way to make sure everyone enjoys their meal. My Husband and I have been coming here for almost 2 years now and I’m never disappointed. We especially like the summertime when we can eat outside. Used to be BYOB but they now have a liquor license. I highly recommend the shrimp Diablo. They always have specials, which are also interesting. My Husband loves to try them. He was especially fond of the Seabass Veracruz.

Wonderful experience. The staff sat us right away, took our order and food came within 20 minutes. The portions were generous and the flavor was all there. Everything on the menu looks delicious and as a Mexican I can attest for it’s authenticity and quality. Update! Came back for more and the mile enchiladas were delicious. Everything was of high quality and delicious. The flan de coco was yummy! Don’t sleep on their desserts.
