I had Lovely Thai on my list… but I have a Thai spot I love, albeit far from here, so I never got there. The Google results still reference the old name…

We came here once before when it was the old Lovely Thai and was disappointed with the taste and quality of their food. We found out that they have a new owner. We decided to come back to check it out and we left happy and satisfied. Food came out fast; taste of everything I ordered was authentic, delicious, and fresh. Portion size is good as well. Best Thai food in Lake County area for sure. I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you so much for the improvement. I definitely recommend this place if you want Thai / Japanese fusion.

I recently visited this place and had an amazing experience! The food was great, and the atmosphere was simple, clean, and cozy. The server was super helpful and friendly, which really added to the overall experience.

What truly impressed me was their willingness to customize the dish to my liking. They made a veg version of it, and it was absolutely delicious! My kid loved it too, which is a big win in my book.

One tip I’d like to share is to ask for medium spice level if you’re sensitive to heat, like I was. I have a good tolerance, but the ‘hot’ option was still overwhelming. When I asked for medium spice this time, it was perfect, and I could truly enjoy the flavors.

Overall, I’m so glad I visited this place, and I’ll definitely be back soon! Highly recommended!

Been here enough times to where I can confidently review the place. Food is excellent, particularly the shrimp red curry, eel avo roll, butterfly roll, and the nigiri. Really solid neighborhood spot for the food. The reason why this place gets three stars though is their service is absolute garbage, the people who work there seem either checked out or holier than thou, but more often a combination of the two. Silly mistakes are common for this place, for example theres been several times, including today, where they’ll give me the wrong drink. I’ve learned that it comes with the territory of ordering from this spot. Excellent budget pick for pan asian food in LC. Please don’t expect miracles, if you want really high grade sushi go to blufish or head to the city. Otherwise, flaws and all, this place does hit the spot.

I wish I got some photos because of how lovely everything was! Best wonton soup in the area hands down, and always pleasant service! We used to come here often enough that the lovely waitress would recognize my boyfriend and ask if he wanted their (fabulous) Thai beer. Wonton soup is garnished with cilantro, green onions, and DELICIOUS fried garlic, had to order some to go! Fresh sushi that is rolled very well with beautiful presentation, delicious drunken noodles, perfect miso soup, and very fresh house salad with crisp red onions (I’ve never had such a nice house salad like this before, honestly!) Great portions and everything always the perfect temperature!

I went there a few weeks ago with 5 people. Service: Horrible. First of all, almost as soon as we sat down the server came over and wanted to know what we wanted to order. We didn’t even have a chance to look at the menu and discuss what we all wanted because we were going to share. Minutes later she came back and asked again, and again, we were not ready. This kept going on and on. Finally when we were ready, we couldn’t even get her attention. When she finally took our orders. After a while she came back with only 1 plate which wasn’t enough for all of us. Then she comes back with another plate. Then another wait. This went on until we finally received all the food. There weren’t many other diners there so I have no idea why the cook couldn’t everything at once or why the server couldn’t bring out everything, again, all at once. When she brought rice for a few dishes it was no more than a tiny cup in a coffee mug type container. This was not the usual amount I would expect from a Thai restaurant. Other places usually give me bowl with the dish. We ordered a curry dish and you would expect a nice portion of rice, not a cup size, and when we complained and wanted more she wanted to charge. Also, we ordered a noodle dish and, again, there was a lot of sauce left over because there was a small amount of noodles. I asked for some rice so that I could eat the sauce and she said noodle dishes don’t come with rice and walked away. What horrible customer service.
Food: Taste was good, but portions were very, very tiny. At the table we ordered soup, other appetizers and 5 dishes and everything was tiny. When we finished I joked so where are we going to go for dinner now. The prices were high for the small portions that we received.

Conclusion: We will never go back and if you decide to go you might want to order double the amount of food that you normally do.

This is the first time I’ve been here since the name change and new ownership. It was a great experience. I had the Fresh Spring Roll for an appetizer and Pad See ew as my main. Everything was fresh and well seasoned/spiced. I ordered my Pad see ew ” medium spicy” it was spicy but not overwhelming. The staff was attentive but not intrusive. All in all a great experience and I am looking forward to my next meal here.

Update: I was in for lunch this week, they have a very nice, affordable lunch menu with some very tasty options.

Had a great time with friends here. Chef Yoshi did an amazing job on the sushi and presentation and our server Kathy made us feel welcome with her hospitality. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area.

The new owners and menu have seriously disappointed! Lovely Thai used to be one of our favorite local restaurants, but we will not be returning. I’ll start by saying the spring rolls are TERRIBLE! I included a picture because they are comical. Basically a head of lettuce, packed with excessive amounts of whole basil leaves, formed into uncut/unsharable rolls. The pad Thai is oily and completely void of flavor. So disappointing!

I live very close to this place. It’s my go-to for the moment! It’s the perfect place for those of you that live out of the way of other Sushi/Boba options. Their menu is extensive enough to have something new every time you come and not come across a bad meal! Best local Thai/Japanese food that isn’t in the city around!
