Downtown Toccoa is beautiful , and shaded and a really cool place and the grill was a nice place to eat .
The food was tasty and the server great. Prices weren’t bad either . Restaurant opens onto an antique mall that is worth checking out .

Service was great! Checked in us without hovering.
Prices were reasonable.
Breakfast is okay. Grits were warm along with omelette, so chock it up to kitchen dynamic not serving it hot. Food took 25 minutes, with only two other tables, a one-topper and a 6-topper. Seems the kitchen needs to work on flow. Service was fine. Not sure if I’ll try it again…

Finally, a grill that knows how to make a proper patty melt, with rye, grilled onions, and swiss cheese. Not the best rye bread, but rye nonetheless. I would suggest sourcing a less crumbly rye to hold up to the juices of the burger patty, which was cooked medium.
I also had the fried pickles, which were a bit greasy. The 1000 Island tempered the grease, though, so not all was lost. Maybe a hotter oil to flash fry them?
Not a disappointing experience at all. The portions were satisfying, the staff friendly, and even the owner acknowledged me and smiled while passing. Nice!
Would I recommend? Yes. Try it for yourself!
Service was extremely slow. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, yet our server only refilled drinks once and didn’t check back afterward. When the dining room filled up, things seemed even more disorganized.
My mom was offered ketchup for her fries, but the server couldn’t find any. She ended up bringing packets and then asked another table if she could take their bottle. Unfortunately, the ketchup she brought us was rancid.
When we finished eating, we waited about 15 minutes with our plates stacked before flagging someone down to ask for the check. That’s when we were told we were supposed to pay at the front, but no one had mentioned that earlier, and we were never given a ticket or any instructions.
The food itself was fine for the price, but the service and overall experience need major improvement.
