Decided to try this place since we were already kind of In The area. Got in on a Saturday at 5 pretty easy. There was a wedding party of 30 in the restaurant already. Guess that’s why we had to park in the back grass lot. A short wait for the waitress to take our drink order and we figured we’d order everything since we had plenty of time to look over the menu. So she took our order and gave us our salad bowls. We went and got our salads and returned to our table. No drinks yet. We just ordered water. I finished my salad and my wife nearly finished hers before we got our water. My wife and I got the early bird special and my son got the 8 oz sirloin. A little while later me and my son’s steaks came out and she said my wife’s catfish was just about ready. So we started eating. Time goes on and we finished our meals completely before we saw our waitress again and my wife still had not received her food. Finally my wife’s food came and I asked for the check too since we didn’t know when/if we’d see our waitress again. I wet up to the cashier to pay since we were about ready to go. They have a 4% fee for using a card. My wife ate some of her dinner but took so long she wasn’t hungry much any more. We took it as mostly left overs. They need to work on the timing of food to a table. That’s not good to have half the table eat and the other half to have nothing. The peach cobbler was kind of weird. Seems like the dough was raw. Not just wet from the peach juice. My wife didn’t want to eat it.
Not the best experience and the food was not as good as an outback or longhorn. Or even a Logan’s. But we supported the locals.

Small town mom & pop type place. Interesting. Good for a visit but doesn’t live up to the “best steak in the world” hype.
Service was great. Really hardworking ladies running around the place. Incredibly attractive lady running the register.
Steak was cooked as ordered but “ok”. Strange marinade that had a hint of vinegar. Not my thing. Without the marinade it would have been great. Ask them to hold the marinade. Thank me later.
Mushrooms were out of a can and…sweetened. WTH? WHO SWEETENS MUSHROOMS??? UGH.

First time visiting for my nephew 44 birthday celebration. Everything was awesome. Great customer service, great atmosphere, staff was nice, friendly engaging, and the food was perfect and the portions were more than I could handle, lol. Some items were a bit pricey but well worth it. I definitely will be going back.

Great steak!!!
We had a party of 8 so there was a 30-40min wait on a Friday night, but it was well worth it. My steak was cooked perfectly. No frills, just juicy goodness!!! Steak comes with trip to the salad bar and 1 side. Will definitely be back again! Pops was a great host once again! He kept us laughing and made us feel like we were at home!

Visited from Ohio with family. We had a large group. My cousin called earlier the day to say we have a large group. She was told ok. Got there, had to wait over 30 minutes but in the meantime they seated other families who came after us. The young lady doing the seating got smart with me, rolled her eyes, was very unprofessional. I advised her that a family before us and us had been waiting for over 30 minutes. She told us we just had to wait. That there was a family of 40, which there want enough chairs for 40 people but she said she just sat a group of 40 who left so they will find something. That group had been gone but she started seating others who came in after us in those seats. My family love the food so this isnt about the food, but about the young girl seating people. She should not work with the public. Thanks to our server who managed everything perfectly.

Service sucked. Our server was rude, not friendly at all. She didn’t seem to care about her job. She was too busy talking to other customers to do her job. We had to practically scream as she walked by to get refills or ask for anything. Food was good. Salad bar is average nothing fancy. We will not return due to server but the black guy cleaning tables was so friendly. We enjoyed him.

It’s good. Will be back. Didn’t like the butter they served, not dairy at all. Some kind of spread, made from oil or something.

While visiting the area my wife and I stumbled on this little gem and thoroughly enjoyed it. You can tell by how packed it was on a Thursday night that it is well-loved by the locals but when the food came out we saw why!
My wife had the 6-oz sirloin and it was cooked to perfection! I had the Applewood cheddar burger on a sourdough bun that was absolutely perfect with just the right amount of tangy sweetness in every bite!
The glasses were huge and never emptied because even though the restaurant was full the wait staff paid close attention to us. We both had half-and-half tea which was perfectly proportioned every time. And the fudge brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and more hot fudge with two spoons was the perfect dessert to wrap up the night!
All in all, this was a wonderful find we’re so happy we stumbled upon
