Wyld Child is outstanding. The food is amazing and the burgers are absolutely fantastic—well crafted, full of flavor, and prepared quickly without sacrificing quality. You can tell real care goes into every bite.
The location and atmosphere are great too, tucked right in with Push & Poor and The STIL, set up really well. It’s a fun, laid-back spot that still feels polished.
Highly recommend if you’re a burger fan. We’ll definitely be back.

Delicious! I tried Wyld Child for the first time, and within a week I had to go again. The fries are delicious. The burgers and sauces are unique and very good. Plenty of brew options for every taste. 10/10 recommend if you haven’t tried it yet.

Talk about a popular place. I figured it was midday things would be slow but they were still hopping. My husband got a burger. I got the chicken. They were both delicious. My husband didn’t like the smash patties, but that’s his personal taste. I enjoyed it. We also got fries and the sweet potato fries as well. Loved the sauces. Glad they had a fry sauce but really enjoyed the malt vinegar sauce. Will be going back. Thought the items were reasonably priced on the menu for what you get.

The menu is limited for a fast casual restaurant or roadside stop as is the theme. However, each item I’ve had is well executed and makes it hard to go back and try something else. Two burgers, two chicken sandwiches, one falafel and a handful of entrée salads. With three businesses on the same property you are all set for coffee from Push & Pour or alcoholic beverages with grab and go or dine in entrees. Finally, you can finish off a trip with ice cream from The Stihl. The Crispy Chicken for $10.99 is an oversize chicken breast, hanging over the bun with its Southern fried chicken crispiness and a crunch in every bite. Easily a half inch thick in the middle. I I played it safe and have not tried the Wyld Style Chicken with Kimchi pickles, Thai Basil and a sweet chili glaze. I prefer the plain Griddle Burger ($6.99) with tomato and American cheese over the Wyld Style burger ($7.99) with Gruyere cheese (perfect) as the bacon jam/black garlic Dijonnaise was also applied pretty lightly. The burgers are a Snake River Farms house blend, prepared smashed style, with great texture served on toasted buns and really hit the spot. The fries are very good, served hot with skin on. They are available with one of four sauces, each is delicious.

9.5 burger out of 10 and is better than Sid’s garage, holy cow in Nampa and Habit. Hands does a place you should try and the cost is fair $7.99 for Wyler style burger.
Also has a cozy feel so you can bring a friend or a date and it’s not too loud to have a conversation or business meeting.
Highly recommended.

Super good food with yummy toppings. The fries are perfection. They offer plenty of in-house made dipping sauces. I always grab the Wyld style burger – SNF wagyu beef blend, bacon jam, black garlic dijonnaise, and gruyere. I add lettuce and onions. It is chefs kiss! You are close to a railroad crossing and several times a train will role by. Great location. There is a coffee shop and ice cream shop that share the outdoor seating with Wyld Child. It even has a fun art piece.

I had the power bowl add fried chicken and it was delicious! The green (avacado?) sauce was great as well!
My husband’s burger was great and their skin on fries were to die for!

We love this place! Tallow fries and fresh local suppliers! I love that they have a gluten free bun option too. It’s such a good burger place and they are quick to get you your food too. Highly recommend the sweet potato fries too!

TL/DR: This is reminds me of an elevated Shake Shack burger, which for me is a compliment. I have had both the Gluten free and non-gluten free options. The Gluten Free bun is really good!
Pros:
-Environment: I personally loved the set up. It has a great community feel. People that just want to sit in a private booth and see no one probably hate it here, but I loved it.
-Bun was really fresh and elevated the burger
-The Gluten Free bun is also really great. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer to ensure fries aren’t cross contaminated. Really makes this an easy spot for those with a more severe gluten allergy ❤️ (note: house sauce is not Gluten Free)
-The regular & gluten free Fries were crisp and well seasoned
Cons:
-House sauce flavor & bacon jam here doesn’t hitting for me, so I hold that.
Again, thisnfeelsblike an elevated Shake Shack, just a local version with a better vibe & more gluten free options. I like shake shack so I’m good with that. New go to option, especially when we need to be gluten free.
Non-Gluten free bun on left. Gluten free bun & fries on right.

I’ve never eaten at Wyld Child previously but have partaken at other restaurants owned under the brand like Wylder that I’ve enjoyed so was looking forward to the fast casual fare.
We hit on a Monday night. Cool evening and it was mostly full. We did manage to get 4 seats together and ordered.
I do not like Pepsi products so that was disappointing but did not play any part in my review. Please get Coke products, however.
We ordered two protein bowls and a burger and crinkle fries and regular fries in our group. And a glass of wine. The bowls were pretty good but the rice to bean ratio was pretty short on beans. We enjoyed the flavor though. The fries were tepid for one and cold for the other. That was disappointing. The burger was missing the cheese and was also cold/tepid. The other hugely disappointing thing was that all the tables were dirty/greasy.
I get that in a place with fried foods it’s not going to be perfect but a super basic premise of restaurant best practice is that if your customers have to sit in dirty or greasy chairs you need to stop taking orders until you rectify the situation.
We might go back but honestly it was overall disappointing. We shall see.
