When your ten year old son turns to you and says “I think this is the best pizza I’ve ever had and my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee,” you can take comfort that your parenting skills are just where the need to be.
As someone who lived less than a mile from Razza (google it) and spent 22 years working in NYC, I can tell you rules and cliches are meant to be challenged.
This is the best pizza I’ve ever had. Great service, fresh ingredients, everything you’d hope for. But the intangible sets W apart: all of the guests enjoy an unspoken, complicit silence that rings true as “… I know, it’s awesome, isn’t it?”

This might be the best pizza in Milwaukee. I loved the fermented (sourdough?) crust. It was super thin and crispy. The zig zag pizza with sopressata and olives was the right amount of salty toppings for the bright tomato sauce. Will definitely order again.

Hands down the best pizza in Milwaukee and probably one of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to. I’ve been coming here for 3+ years consistently and I’ve never been disappointed.
All of the toppings are delicious/high quality and they don’t skimp out. The base sauce and cheese on all the pizzas is also amazing as well. You can tell that everything is made in house and made with love.
My personal favorite is the hot marmot. Their white pizzas are also delicious as well. Seasonal pizzas are also offered and they are always worth a shot.
If you are not a fan of the typical bar style or Midwestern thin crust pizza (which I am not), definitely check this place out. Best wood fired pizza I’ve ever had, and the crust is insanely good.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is my favorite restaurant in the Milwaukee area by far. Extremely friendly staff and diverse drink menu.
Please check this place out! I encourage everyone in the Milwaukee area to try it!

I can’t believe we’ve never been here before. I ordered the trailhead pizza and it was amazing. Crust was crispy, perfect amount of cheese and sauce. This was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Milwaukee!

We called ahead for a scheduled pickup, and they were absolutely wonderful over the phone helping us with our order. We ordered a large Hogsback – Sausage and Red Onion.
The pizza was ready when we arrived, and the service was excellent. Parking was easy, and they take credit cards.
The crust was perfect, and the pizza was so good we just kept eating one slice after another. We finished the whole pie under 15 minutes and then felt totally guilty about how fast we inhaled the pizza.
This is easily on our Top 5 Pizza Places of Milwaukee List.

First of all, the he pizza was absolutely fantastic. The crust was perfect, the sauce well seasoned, and just the right amount of toppings. I just moved to Milwaukee from Chicago, but am a native of NYC. The pizza I had rivaled the best I’ve had anywhere I’ve lived. The reason for the deduction in stars has to do with the service. The pizza was incorrectly prepared with Sausage included in my half even though I was specific in my order and I’m a vegetarian. The server never checked in with us after the pizza was delivered, and only came by to ask if we wanted a box to take home the leftovers. Even then, she never asked how the food was. Very disappointed.

Best crust and best pizza in Milwaukee. Can’t believe I haven’t rated it yet. The couple that owns and runs the place are very friendly and welcoming. They rotate pizza choices throughout the year so when you go will dictate which of the special pizzas are available. Great beer list and always the best background music, too!
