The mango drink was loved by my daughter. While the tacos had plenty of meat it was highly lacking in flavor of any kind. Two tacos, one mango drink totaled $25

We always eat here when we’re in lake Placid! It’s a great grab and go option for people looking not to sit down and eat. The food taste fresh and the orders come fast even on their busy days. Always recommend the tacos. They’re a great portion size.

I wanted to like this place. The portions were big, but the food was like warm at best. I got both a burrito bowl and sasquatch burrito, the risked was great, everything else lacked flavor.
Staff: the Asian guy was the rudest person. First, he scared me when he was yelling for a customer, fine. He proceeded to let no one in particular know that “that’s what happens when you stand where you are” (by the take out doorway). Okay. He wouldn’t look at me while I ordered and then took off saying something about me. 2. When it came to getting my order, they barely said a thing and when I asked if it was my order, I was told to look. As in opening the bag full of food.
I will not be going back.

I wanted to explore the place based on the high rating, which I believe is mostly because of transitory nature of customers rather than a steady base considering the location.
I ordered grande chicken burrito with jalapeño cheddar tortilla, cilantro rice with chipotle chicken and I must say that this was the worst burrito I have ever had. The chicken was too salty and the rice was undercooked.
I wouldn’t recommend this place

Wyatt’s is a true gem if you’re craving Mexican food in Lake Placid. The flavors are fresh, bold, and authentic — you can tell everything is made with care. The tacos were perfectly seasoned with tender meat and just the right amount of spice, and the homemade salsas added a great kick without being overpowering.
I also tried the burrito bowl, which was packed with flavor and super filling. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and everything comes out hot and well-presented. The staff were friendly and quick, even during a busy dinner rush, and the casual, welcoming atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.
If you’re visiting Lake Placid and want a break from typical bar food, Wyatt’s should be your go-to spot. Great value, great flavors, and genuinely great people running it. Highly recommend the carnitas tacos and chips with guacamole — you won’t be disappointed!

I was excited to try Wyatt’s. I love trying independent places. It’s located in the heart of Lake Placid center. The menu, photos, and reviews were good. The food came fast, but the portions were really small for the price. I had the brisket bowl which was really disappointing. The meat was a slab of fat. I ordered sour cream and the entire portion was bathed in it. Honestly, Chipotle, a chain, is a much better choice compared to Wyatt’s. It really wasn’t great.

This place is a literal hole in the wall. Food was pretty solid, and at a pretty good price for the location. Mac n cheese was decent. This is a good place for a quick take out meal; there is only one table on site. Would definitely come back again if I was in town.

I have never left a review before on anything and I never thought my first one would be a negative review. We are locals, my husband went to pick up our food tonight, expecting an online order, and stood there waiting for our food 10-15 minutes, staff having seen him come in and making eye contact with him. Another lady waiting finally asked about her online order and ONLY THEN were they told the ordering was down. Online ordering being down is not the issue btw, we’ve never had an issue with it before and it happens, that’s fine, but 10-15 minutes no service? No one else was there but my husband and that lady. Then finally when he was able to get serviced he got yelled at, not being dramatic, actually yelled at and given attitude by a staff member because he didn’t realize that on the menu it said they were out of brisket that day. My husband was absolutely shocked and did not deserve that behavior. I hope that this can be resolved.
In terms of the food, we’ve ate there a good amount, it’s not my favorite but my husband and most people in town really enjoy it, definitely fresh, priced affordable and fairly and is a good restaurant for Tex Mex take-out.

Fantastic food! Absolutely satisfied with everything. Good portions, flavourful food. We ate here twice. First time we had the Mac bowl with various toppings. The next night we had a chicken quesadilla and beef brisket sandwich. I’m so used to brisket with bbq sauce but this one came with mustard. I was reluctant but I was pleasantly surprised. The brisket was so tender.

Wyatt’s in Lake Placid, NY, is a spot worth checking out.
Each person gets a menu slip and a highlighter. Write your name, choose your fillings, and voilà!
If you’re craving Tex-Mex flavors, this is your place. The brisket is on point, and their burrito bowls hit the spot. They have double meat option which was the selling point for me. The brisket burrito bowl was a winner.
Their portions may not be huge, but the flavors make up for it.
So, if you’re in Lake Placid, swing by Wyatt’s for a taste of New York-sized burritos.
