Lunch on a Saturday, slightly busy but still moved efficiently. The Rice cake with spicy minced pork was phenomenal! Spicy sauce, delicious meat and rice cakes were the perfect vehicle for everything. Shanghai pan fried pork buns also yummy. Mild flavor, great to add the chili sauce too. Beef scallion pancakes me absolute favorite – AMAZING the beef so tender and flavorful. The soup dumplings very good. Exactly as they should be.

Delicious and comforting Shanghainese fare with generous portions. The lion’s head meatball noodles were flavorful and tender, complemented by crisp cucumber for balance. The wonton soup had a rich, milky broth and silky dumplings, while the clay pot dish was hearty and satisfying. Everything was served quickly and piping hot. You order at the kiosk, pick up your meal at the counter, and clear your own table — casual, efficient, and great value for the quality.

The xiao long bao was okay, but the noodles and other dishes weren’t great.
They tasted like frozen food that had just been reheated.
The prices are really cheap, but if you’re expecting good quality, you might be disappointed.
Please don’t order the noodle

The place is cozy with beautiful bamboo lamps. We ordered our food from the kiosk and it was served to us on trays. Everything was delicious

Decent, affordable Shanghainese food. Would highly recommend the pan fried buns. You order at the kiosk, receive your food at the counter, and are required to clean up after yourself.

I was in the mood for some Asian dumplings, and this spot happened to be right on my way home from work, so I figured, why not? I walked in and was greeted right away. The server kindly helped me order at the self-service kiosk, which was a nice touch.
I went with the pork dumplings and the vegetable soup. My order took about 10 minutes, which felt just right since the place wasn’t crowded. Everything came out fresh, hot, and steamy, comfort food energy all the way.
The presentation was simple but clean and inviting. The pork dumplings were the standout: delicately wrapped with a firm bite and just the right amount of seasoning. Super flavorful, not your average takeout dumplings. Definitely a step up.
The vegetable soup was tasty too. I wasn’t a big fan of the fried tofu pieces, but the broth had good flavor and the noodles were cooked perfectly, soft but not mushy.
All in all, solid experience. Worth a stop if you’re craving something warm, flavorful, and comforting on a weekday.

Lunch is quick and easy: order and pay at the kiosk, grab your own table, and when you’re done, you can put your tray away and leave. The food comes out quickly and is always fantastic! The soup dumplings are my go-to order, and the custard buns are so pillowy and sweet. It’s a 45-minute drive from me, but is always worth it!

I wasn’t even hungry (well not by normal people’s standards) when I came in with friends, but one bite and my stomach made sure there was plenty of room for each and every item that we ordered!
The chicken with spicy sauce was a good level of spicy. Spicy but not too spicy where it overpowered the flavor.
All of the dumplings that we got were delicious, with the Seafood Shumai a unique flavor that I really enjoyed as well.
We’ve tried a lot of dumpling places all over New Jersey and even in some of the most heavily Asian populated cities like Edison, Edgewater, and Fort Lee and this location is one of the absolute best so far.
The parking lot is a bit small but there were a few spaces available on a Sunday.

Avoid the drinks here. The one we got was manufactured a year ago ! Mostly a takeout place, though you can eat inside if you don’t mind clearing your own table. Very small space, not great for dining with friends. Food is just okay, nothing special.

Great place, dumplings noodles etc.
You order yourself using a screen and then someone brings the food to you.
The only critique is they only use paper, and plastic. Just wish they could give you a bowl for the soup etc. But I guess that’s just not the business model.
Still great food!
