The pork dumplings are very good and so is the noodle soup. The only downside is the restaurant is very small in tight quarters. Even though the restaurant is lacking in space, the food is not lacking in taste. The prices are good the noodles are cooked to perfection.

We loved everything we ordered except for the garlic broccoli —— they were frozen broccoli and tasted squishy. The broccoli reminded us the steam bags from grocery stores we microwave to get some instant veggies. That’s the reason why I took one star off. Other than that, the soup dumplings, pan fried pork bun, vegetable and pork wonton, and the black tiger bubble tea were all very tasty. The server was friendly and attentive. The decors of buns and dumplings are super cute and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Stopped by with the OTS crew for lunch — absolutely amazing experience! Every dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The dumplings were especially standout. Great service, great atmosphere, and truly authentic food. Highly recommended!

This place will give you a free drink to leave them a five star review, don’t trust the reviews.

Food wasn’t very good or fresh, part of our order was forgotten, server never checked on us after ordering. The soup dumplings were alright, but I would not come back.

First time visiting. Clever decor, lamps are dumpling-themed, very interesting. I would categorize this restaurant as modern-Asian; not the Chinese food of old Chinatown, nor China, for that matter.

Worth a visit, and a new experience.

This is a truly authentic dumpling and noodle restaurant. The dumplings are fresh and delicious, and the flavors taste just like homemade. The restaurant is clean, with a warm and welcoming vibe. The staff are friendly and attentive, which makes the dining experience even better. Highly recommend to anyone who loves authentic dumplings

I was not sure how they have 4.8 stars but I took a picture of their bribe to get 5 star reviews.

The service was terrible. Absolutely atrocious. We were seated, given menus and water and then no one came back for a very long time. Our waitress was standing around with AirPods in her ears. She was borderline rude and most certainly not friendly. I tried to order something on the menu and was informed they were out of that. No suggestions for something else, or any conversation. Every interaction left me feeling like it was an inconvenience for me to interact with her.

We got some of our food very quickly and then the last two dishes were much later. We were just about to tell them to forget it. But couldn’t find anyone. Our water was empty and never refilled.

They have no drinks other than bubble teas, and won’t even let you customize those.

Some of the items were tasty but some were not. It’s hard with no descriptions on the menu and a very unhelpful server to make selections. The food was very greasy as well.

Example – ordered the beef scallion pancake. I was not prepared for the beef to be cold inside or for it to be filled with cilantro. The Shanghai Pan fried pork buns were the best bite. The filling was super tasty and you could taste the sesame in the crispy exterior. The udon noodles were good, as well as the beef and water chestnut dumplings. I did not enjoy the chicken and sweet corn dumplings.

Could have been a totally different experience has the server had any desire to actually interact with the customers.

It’s been while visiting the Edison location which was great since Covid and saw this location so tried it with family thinking it would be just as good.

Very disappointed and not sure if new owners but one, there was no Asians cooking the food that I found authentic back then at old location. All for diversity and even staff is fine if not Asian but they were no Asians too.

Service was eh and not enthusiastic to be there and one person had one headphones on the whole time

Seat where we sat was a little dirty with dried sauce stain

Scallion pancake came out first and was awful with no scallion and just fried flakes

The only thing that was ok was the soup dumplings but still not great

Rice cakes were tasteless and the string beans were greasy and so much oil

Can say we won’t be returning which is a shame if it was the same quality of old Edison location before Covid but assuming it’s changed too

Owners should really be reading the reviews if they want business to survive

Misleading and overrated. This is nowhere near a 4.8-star restaurant, and it seriously makes me question how many fake ratings were generated.

No hot tea. Instead, they served tap water that tasted like dirt. The vinegar on the table was clearly watered down, which is embarrassing for any Chinese restaurant.

I ordered the Shanghai pan-fried udon with chicken, a classic savory dish. Instead, they made it sweet. No chinese person I know would cook this dish like this. Completely wrong and inexcusable for something so basic. We also had the pan-fried rice cakes with cabbage and chicken, which was greasy and overly salty.

The “juicy” pork buns were mediocre at best. The filling was bland, and the dough was thicker than it should be.

In hindsight, I should have walked out when they said they didn’t serve tea. This place is nowhere near the rating it advertises.

Food was alright. It was really nice and a clean place. Cool atmosphere. Was a little disappointed when I asked for a good amount of lemons and I got two slices, like how am I supposed to squeeze the lemon? And I ask for more and they bring me two more circular slices.
And then I ask to cut one in half, and they give me what feels like a thawed-from-frozen lemon, with barely any juice .
I would go back to try their food again. I ish they had more meat options and not just pork.
