Nice place, quick and efficient with good food. We went as a family on a weekday for dinner. We were seated quickly. Our orders were taken quickly and everything was prepared exactly as we ordered. We didn’t have hibachi but ordered from the menu. The food was pretty good but I would not rate as 5 stars. Overall, it’s a nice clean restaurant with good food, suitable for parties and casual dining.

Awesome interior design. The menu has Chinese, Thai, and Japanese food. We had the sit down menu experience didn’t try the hibachi. Prices are reasonable once you see the portions which are quite large. You can easily split a plate between 2 people or take home what you couldn’t finish. You can tell your food is freshly cooked. Flavor is what you expect but it does have a slight difference which makes it distinct but not offensive. Very friendly service. Clean restrooms.

The service at Wu’s House was friendly and quick. The food was absolutely mouth-watering. I ordered the Sesame Chicken with a spring roll (from their lunch menu) along with fried rice with added green onion and eggs. The spring roll had just the right crisp, not oily at all. It was served with a sweet and sour type of sauce. Loved it! The Sesame Chicken was hot, fresh, with the most delectable slightly sweet sauce. The fried rice was also divine, very fluffy and tasty. Blown away with how amazing this entire experience was! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful! It is extremely clean. The food is delicious, the best hibachi I found in all of Northwest Indiana. And the service was absolutely incredible, the chefs were singing and entertaining the whole time and they were so good with kids! They were also very time efficient! Highly recommend!

Food and sushi absolutely phenomenal! We stopped frequenting House of Kobe after so many disappointing experiences and this place made such a difference and it was cheaper! I got the jaguar roll and shrimp tempura roll and both were excellent. Our cook was Joshua and his services were welcoming and entertaining! He was also very accommodating to our little daughter. Our waitress was also very hospitable and although there is a service charge we tipped more just because they were so good at their job! This is our go to hibachi spot from now on!

Sushi was great. We spent $130 and some change. Ordered 2 appetizers, 2 Japanese drinks, 1 soda, 1 juice, Edamame was free (like the dinner rolls Texas Roadhouse), and 4 sushi rolls. King Crab Rangoon doesn’t have King Crab in it. Description reads “imitation crab”. If you like cream cheese, they LOAD it in there. You’d have to search for ANY imitation crab and can definitely taste the onions-very minimal but it’s there.
The place wasn’t overcrowded, it’s huge. Clean. Service is only a 3 because no matter the number of guests-you’re going pay 18% gratuity charge on the final bill (minus tax-which is 8% in Merrillville).
We would come back for the food, if we didn’t live far. Sushi was too good-forgot to take the photos.

Beautiful restaurant and decor. You can choose the Hibachi seating or regular dining room. So many options, huge portions and reasonable prices. We highly recommend it.

Bad experience with there orange chicken, crazy especially me being a Food Credic that I am and very proud of my job. The sauce for the orange chicken was really good but the meat was tuff got sent back twice and the manager in the picture Handi was truly nice and have a wonderful discount especially after the actual server who’s name is Mark knew my party wanted the lunch special when we pointed directly to the menu of it being a lunch special and got charged for a full entree meal but thank God for the manager who totally understood and fixed our situation.

This place can get very busy but service is great. Nice decorations as well. It can get a little noisy and cold as well, depending on where you are seated. Hibachi seating is parted from the rest of the place. Excellent food! Be aware that they automatically charge 18% service fee. Which I think is the right way to go. Plenty of parking.
