I was curious to see this place. I spoke to the chef before I came, and after dinner. He spoke about his cooking philosophy and we also discussed his techniques. That really helped understand the food. The food they cook at wullenwever is really exceptional. It was the best meal I had in all of the places I visited in Lubeck, Rostock and Stralsund. It is northern german inspired, it is certainly inspired by the chefs unique philosophy, it is well prepared and presented. I highly recommend this place.
