Have you ever had food so good that when you take that first bite you just smile and start talking to yourself because it is just that good? Well, this is the place that will have you craving more. My first bite of the chicken wings sent me to Chicken Wing Heaven! They’re pleasantly sized pieces of chicken that are fried to perfection. Fresh, juicy, crispy- crunchy, and the flavor explodes in your mouth. I had the Guava flavored wings which were recommended by the amazing lady that takes your order. I was apprehensive because I’m not a fan of a lot of Guava flavored items but I was open to it(be sure to try the pickled onions on a piece of the chicken- it is amazingly delicious). I ordered the Spicy Wu Wings as well. I had the peach lemonade which was great.
My experience: while waiting for the chicken wings, I had the pleasure of trying the Fried Cheese. My mind was like “Fried cheese? Nah, I’m good” but again, I was open to it. It was served with the guava sauce that’s served on the wings. It turned out to be mind-blowing good. The fried cheese had such a great flavor on its own then dipping the little squares into that phenomenal guava sauce truly put the icing on the cake. The fried cheese was just as good as the chicken wings and I’d for sure order it again including recommending it to any and everyone!
After tasting how good the guava sauce was with the cheese, I was nearly salivating while anticipating the arrival of the chicken wings. While waiting for the food, I realized that I was outside and it was not too hot. They have an amazing setup that keeps you cool enough to enjoy your food outside on a hot Florida sunny day. The service is impeccable.
I had the chicken sandwich and fries a few days before this visit which is what prompted me to come back. I’ve been to this place 3 times already and each time was a flawless experience and exceptional food. I will be back again and again until I’ve had everything on the menu.
Fyi: the Spicy Wu sauce is very tolerable. I even let my grandmother try them and she wanted more and more which was good because she has no tolerance for heat, not even hot sauce.
Update: the Coconut Lemonade is so good and refreshing.

Found this outdoor-esque restaurant on accident! It was such a cute space and I love how the middle seating area had fans to keep customers cool and board games available if you wanted to play.
The person who took our order was super respectful and kind. Definitely went out of his way to make our first visit enjoyable.
He came around asked if our drinks were okay (the Thai tea was to die for) and then hand delivered the yummiest food!
We ordered the pork belly bao and the chicken wings.
We are gonna be back for sure!

Chicken sandwich was juicy and had such incredible flavors. I don’t like spice and the nice girl who cashed us out told me about a sweet and spicy sauce that was absolute heaven. The fries were crispy and so flavorful. I’m absolutely obsessed. We also got strawberry milk tea and coconut lemonade and it was delicious! Highly recommended

I ordered the oyster mushrooms baos with a side of fries. The food was fresh and well seasoned. I enjoyed my meal but will say the batter or grease is a little on the salty side. I would still totally recommend

The Mushroom and Pork Belly Baos were so tasty. Good balance with freshness of the food, crispy crunch and fluffiness of the bread. Both Guava and Desert Pear Bobas were refreshing. 10/10 would come back.

Interesting setup. You order at one window and get your drinks from that window, but then the food is made in another trailer on the other side of the sitting area in between. Boba teas and fried wings is their thing. Enjoyed it and we’ll be back.

i’ve been to wu a few times now and each time, the food and service have been great. the mushroom bao are delicious and filling. my meat eating friends really enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich as well as the pork belly bowl. if you’re in the mood for a sweet treat, try one of their fruit teas or lemonades – they have many flavors to choose from and hit the spot every time!

This place is the definition of quality. Every time we have gone, the food has been juicy, fresh and extremely well-seasoned. The owners are very kind and personable. They are under a well-ventilated patio – works for every season. It’s a great place to hang out and enjoy great food. I would recommend their drinks without the boba pearls, but that is just my preference.

I learned about WU when I was watching the news on ABC one afternoon and saw that they were featuring a new restaurant in Seminole Heights. I live in Lutz in Northern Hillsborough County before Pasco, so I live a good distance, but I’ll go the distance to try some good new food.
All I can say is that it was worth it. Anya was great!! The restaurant was nice and clean. And they have a great variety of food and flavored teas. Definitely will be going back with my adult foodie daughter.
