Someone raved about their Jambalaya but it was gross. The chicken was okay. Maybe if I hadn’t walked into a unclean space I might have felt better about eating the food. The food at the steam table looked very displeasing. If I had not ordered ahead I would’ve simply walked out.
If they spruce up and clean the place I would’ve given them three stars. I don’t think I’ll return. Somewhat friendly ppl though.

The portion sizes are huge. I got the chicken which is 1/2 chicken, ribs, and chipped beef; sort of like pulled pork but it’s beef. For my sides I got mac n’ cheese and potato salad. I didn’t care for the mac and cheese because it wasn’t baked. Potato salad tasted good. The ribs were a bit salty I think because the spice they use was just put on the ribs but they were tender enough to eat. Chicken was very good; I think the best thing out of the meats for me. And the chipped beef was nothing special to me. I also tried the banana pudding and all I basically got was pudding in there I didn’t see any banana or any of the vanilla wafers that was disappointing. So the portions are huge but the seasoning not so special. Don’t think if I’d visit again.

The ribs and sausage were good. Broccoli salad was good too. The one thing that I didn’t care for was the lack of a good barbecue sauce. I’m not sure what they gave us was actually barbecue sauce. I hope not. It was very bland. Not sweet and tangy like you expect. Otherwise it was good food and the prices were reasonable. I would eat here again.

I ordered at drive up window. The woman was not friendly or helpful, but when I got home with 2 sliced Beef sandwiches, I was very disappointed. The sauce was terrible… not sure what kind of sauce it was.it didn’t taste like any barbecue sauce. My husband & I both said it was so bad, we couldn’t eat them. This was the worse barbecue I have ever tasted. No wonder they never seem to have customers.

We came in to eat around 3pm, yes I know odd hours. We left and went elsewhere, the place is dead (because its 3pm) and the food looked as if it had not been stirred or messed with all day. There’s no reason the workers couldn’t mix the food up to keep it from crusting over like that. Food like that, especially sauces, look very unappetizing when being left still for so long. If a manager or owner is reading this please make sure your people know to stir the food every once in awhile. Will come try sometime again when it’s closer to lunch time. Will update review next time I come in.

My wife read a review several years ago, so on a trip we stopped. The food was OK, nothing outstanding or bad. But it had the filthiest bathroom for a restaurant I’ve ever encountered!! If filthy bathrooms are OK, what’s the kitchen like?

Never again! Don’t waste your time. Chicken was so dry I couldn’t even eat it. If you can’t get smoked chicken “Wright” something is wrong, but it wasn’t all bad their sides were ok.

Service was friendly and fast is the reason for 2 stars, otherwise would be 1. It’s the first time eating here and sorry to say,, will be my last. Food tasted like it was old from previous days (I went at lunch time). Chicken was dry and overcooked and texture was that of reheated chicken (dry and became mushy when chewing). Coleslaw was wilted and had a funny after taste as if it was old as well. Sliced beef was tender, but not a lot of flavor. Im not a picky eater, but threw it away.

I have always enjoyed their food. Their ribs and chicken are must-haves. Always pleasant people and food at a price that’s very reasonable. Never had a to-go order messed up or missing something, and that’s saying something now days.
