Hi! We were going to be at the Vacaville Outlets and was looking online for a place to eat and saw Wren’s Cafe with so many good reviews. So we ate there today and we were not disappointed. The place is inviting, very clean and people are friendly. Our server was Cheryl and she is so nice! I ordered a grilled thinly sliced lean pastrami sandwich with melted swiss cheese on it with a yummy grilled soft roll. OMG… so so so delicious! Best pastrami sandwich I ever had!! Finally I made it in here! After driving by it for years I had the opportunity to eat breakfast. My wife and I were back in California for a few days and were staying in Vacaville. I told her I had been by this place for years and wanted to give it a try. It did not disappoint! The chicken fried steak was very good and the gravy had a good flavor. The service was good and it was very busy on a Sunday morning. This is right off Interstate 80 so its easy on and off. Well worth the time and effort!

For many years of passing the cafe on the highway. I finally figured out how to get in there. Friendly staff very helpful. Hot burger and french fries. My brother had the breakfast burrito. The steam was visible. Usually orders sit on the counter at other restaurants. Not here. It was busy . They did not let that be a factor. The staff was on their game. Within minutes of completion it was at the table. They kept checking on us. They kept track of refills.
