This place is amazing and its food is very delicious. I recommend this place that is right in the center of New Haven. I ordered a rice bowl with white rice and quinoa accompanied by chicken, chicken and meatballs, lamb meatballs, mango sauce, pickle, tomatoes, cabbage, potatoes and a delicious vegetable soup that is the perfect complement to accompany your dinner. I also tried vada pav which is like mini sliders with sauces so amazing and flavorful- little spicy little sweet. My wife also tried their vegan momos – crispy outside and generously filled soft inside. Lovely food! I will recommend others and will come back to try more.

wry flavorful and portion sizes are amazing! Called & requested extra sauce on the side & they delivered. Didn’t fill up the bowl with just rice everything was evenly portioned.

Decent food in downtown New Haven—flavors were good and portions fair. However, the staff seemed undertrained. We were charged extra for an item that one staff member said was included, but the cashier said otherwise. A bit of a confusing experience, but the food itself was enjoyable. With better service, this place has potential.

First timer at WOW Tikka and very impressed. I’m
Not one to eat Indian food because usually it’s very spicy for me but must say there was options of mild and Gluten free! Food was very fresh. You can choose how spicy you want it! There are rice bowls, street food, Desi Burrito, desserts, refreshments!
The 2 ladies working were very pleasant and helpful. Even though it appeared empty there were many people ordering to go and a some that dined! Indian food keeps impressing me! It was delicious!

They have locations in both Boston and New Haven!

What I ordered:
Base: biryani rice
Filling: veg kofta and plant based keema
Sauce: tikka masala
Topping: onion and cilantro
Also tried their street food – paneer naan kathi roll.

Bowls were packed with authentic flavors! It’s basically a chipotle but for Indian food!

Had a really great experience at Wow! Tikka New Haven. I loved that I could choose everything from my rice, to protein, then sauces, and veggies! These bowls are completely customizable to your liking.
First, you absolutely need to start with a samosa, and grab a fresh homemade lemonade. The perfectly spicy samosa with the sweet tangerine lemonade is a perfect combo!

Everything is made fresh daily in house and you can absolutely taste the freshness in every bite.

If you like Indian food, or curious and want to try some the, you really need to stop in for some amazing food!

Still decent but they’ve definitely changed the way some of things are done. The chicken isn’t cooked the same and has a slightly weird smell to it and they changed the flavor of the masala sauce. Got the exact same thing two days in a row and the price was $4 more today than it was yesterday. I still don’t understand their pricing structure.

I love the idea of making my own bowl of Indian food yummyness. All three rice options are good. We tried the biryani rice for the first time and it was a winner. It made a difference even through the toppings and sauce.

We have tried most of the proteins and they all make us happy. There are so many great toppings it is hard to imagine people not being able to put together a hearty bowl of food here.

Finally, the sauces. They are all so good. Such a deep flavor and they really bring the whole bowl together.

My picky eater requests this place often. We would be weekly regulars if we had one in town.
