This was my second visit, and I didn’t realize the restaurant had switched owners—but I immediately noticed the difference. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt refreshed, welcoming, and inviting. I was greeted by Erica, who was fantastic and took great care of me throughout my visit. I chose to sit at the bar, which was very comfortable and well set up.
While going over the menu, Erica offered a few recommendations, and I decided to go with her suggestions—AMAZING is the only word that fits. She then shared that the restaurant has new ownership and that the owner is also the head chef. Everything is made to order, using high-quality, fresh meats, and you can truly taste the difference. My dish absolutely confirmed everything she described.
To top it off, the owner and head chef, Carlos, personally came out to introduce himself. He asked how everything was and shared his passion, dedication, and vision for the restaurant, including exciting upgrades he has planned. You can genuinely feel his pride and commitment to quality in both the food and the experience.
I will definitely be back—next time with the whole family. A big thank you to Erica and Carlos for such a great experience. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

My wife and I had one of the best dinners out in a long time. The food was fantastic and prepared exactly as ordered, from the appetizers, entrees to the desert. I had an old fashion and my wife ordered the sangria, which is made in house, excellent!! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll be recommending this restaurant to everyone I know and will definitely make this one of our regular spots to dine out or just to sit and have drinks.

I had marinated fried pork today. Each piece was carefully cut and seasoned. Plantains were pretty perfectly pressed and fried. Yellow rice with pigeon peas was fresh. I took my order to go, but the server was great while I waited. There is a little bar inside too.

I got there a little early and had the most pleasant conversation with Erika! She’s the sweetest.
I ordered fried pork chunks and mofongo, absolutely delicious.. flavor was 10/10, portions size was 20/10 I even have left overs!
I’m not a pinto bean person but the flavor had me scrapping the bowl clean!
My children tried the wings, plenty of meat on the info with great flavor, fried perfectly leaving the meat juicy and delicious.
I’m extremely pleased to see the original owners of WOW sandwich and grill are back, they know what they’re doing in the kitchen!!

Wow is right and not in a good way. My wife and I had two different pork dishes. While hers was nice flavor wise, portion wise it was not worth what was paid. By comparison my pork chops were so over cooked that I could barely eat it. The waitress claimed that all their food was made from scratch and I’m confident that was not the case with several items on our plates. Speaking of, multiple plates on the table when we sat down were dirty which was a bit off putting. Waitress was nice and the pinto beans were probably the tastiest thing either of us ordered. Disappointing visit otherwise.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. Everything is made fresh and priced fairly. Service was a bit slow, but you can tell they are still getting their feet under them on the staffing side, so it was an army of one on the Tuesday night I went with my family. That said, the quality of the food more than made up for the slower service. This was hands down the best meal I had when I was in and round cape coral for a week and tried some other spots. Go eat here!
