I was pleasantly surprise with what I got from Wow Bento & Roll in DTLA. This little mom and pop shop on Hill is unassuming. That’s probably why I didn’t know about it. Haha. As their name suggest, they specialize in bento boxes and sushi rolls. Although affordable in price, the quality of the food they serve is high. I ordered their spicy bento box and I really enjoyed it. I liked that they include spicy cucumbers, the same kind that you typically see at Korean BBQ places. I’ll definitely be back.

A wonderful place to grab a tasty and healthy lunch! Friendly staff, especially the cashier is so kind and patient.

Small place to eat with about 8-10 tables and it can get crowded during the lunch time, but you can’t beat the prices for sushi and rice bowls. There is a $5 chicken tempura bowl I recommend (rice, teriyaki chicken, with 3 pieces of tempura), it’s definitely a cheap lunch option for downtown la. The taste of the sushi is great for the price.

Affordable and fast (could get crowded at lunchtime tho). Lots of menu items to choose from. Good rice, yummy tempura. Pickup and delivery available. Try the bibimbap!
