What a pleasant surprise. At a conference and the weather is so wintery, we ate at the hotel restaurant.
It surpassed expectations.

The first night I had the salmon, which was excellent. The second night dining alone, I had “the” mushroom which I pictured here and highly recommend! What a nice blend of flavors from the greens to the mushroom and vegetables.

Great waitstaff who are genuinely interested in your experience of the food and the setting.

The open restauranr layout has pleasant lighting and music that is relaxing and warming after a long day while the bar area is busy and lively. Best of both worlds.

Day 1: Nice restaurant. Great food. Enjoyed the blackened salmon and corn – absolutely delicious. Desserts were just ok – but presentation was fantastic. Great service and ambience in the restaurant is quite nice.

Day 3:
I Came back again for day 3 of my conference – enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the bar! Food- excellent, Service- excellent…. Sean was my bartender and he was so attentive, kind and made sure that every aspect of my meal was delightful. He recommended a wonderful dessert to compliment my meal – super yummy! A+ for me I will definitely pop in for a visit next time I am in Chicago.

Nice restaurant in the Marriott next to McCormick Place. The bartenders were friendly and provided quick service. We started with the candied bacon and it did not disappoint. Nice maple flavor with a little bit of chew. We also had the pork chop and the chimmichuri portobello sandwich. The pork chop was tender and had a little bit of a char, which added to the smokey flavor. The portbello sandwich was delicious, and the chimmichuri was excellent.

For being a hotel lobby restaurant the place was pretty good. Prices were not outrageous but definitely expensive. The service was generally pretty terrible when sitting down at a table however the bar was pretty good. It took almost 20 min to get a server to our table one time for breakfast. By no means would i consider this a fast place to stop by. The food was actually pretty good considering. The maple chicken is tasty. Chimichurri wings were good. Breakfast was great with the exception of the service. Great coffee. Worth hitting up if you are staying at the Marriot or nearby hotel. Also look at a few of the other restaurants in the other hotels. The soshito peppers were delicious.

Woven and Bound at Marriott Marquis in Chicago is an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance is inviting, the menu is diverse, and the service is impeccable. The dishes are beautifully presented and bursting with flavors. From the roasted beet salad to the grilled salmon and chocolate lava cake, every bite is a delight. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring a memorable evening. I highly recommend Woven and Bound for a fantastic dining experience in Chicago.

Arrived in Chicago late on a Sunday and thought we had to “settle” for the hotel restaurant. There was no settling! This place is the real deal, with a nice atmosphere, good beers and delicious burgers. The rest of the menu looked good, but this review is about a 10pm burger run that was nicely satisfied

Quite disappointed. Restaurants is part of The Marriott Marquis so the service and the food should be better. The food was very average compared to the relatively pricey cost . We waited almost 25 minutes for the waitress to even come and acknowledge or serve a glass of water. Had to walk over and ask for the waitress to come take the order or give Water. She was not happy about that and initially rude. We waited one hour for the food, even when we told the waitress that we were hungry and Just got off a flight, etc and would appreciate if we can get the food soon. We saw people who were seated after us being served before us. Eventually We had to call the manager after one hour to get our food.Overall not impressed at all. Not many options nearby when you’re coming for a conference at the McCormick convention center and staying at Marriott Marquis. Otherwise would not eat there again. Very average food despite relatively high price and poor service overall.

Limited menu but delicious. Highly recommend the Roasted Cauliflower Steak Romesco (the red sauce was so flavorful!) and the Toasted Pecan Cheesecake (rich and bright). Pricy, but comparable to many other hotels and restaurants in the area. Attentive service late in the evening. Big space, although it can get crowded for group events and get noisy in the big open space. This venue attracts a lot of business travelers and events.

A standout hotel restaurant in Chicago! Woven + Bound at the Marriott Marquis is way more than convenient dining—it’s genuinely delicious and beautifully done. The menu weaves in bold, local flavors perfectly: the candied bacon was addictive (sweet, smoky perfection!), the pork chop tender and flavorful, and the Portobello sandwich hearty and satisfying
