Very poor lighting at dinning tables and walkways. The food is usually very good depending if the regular cook is on the clock. Burgers patties are tiny and had more onion than meat. Seafood is a gamble every time. The stuffed mushrooms with toasted French bread is a brilliant recipe. If you enjoy fried basket dinners and smaller portions you would expect to be paying for gormay meals. Drinks are strictly measured and exotic request don’t ever get replicated twice the same way. Wider variety of cold beer available and regularly stocked. Cover charges for a local DJ or one Man bands and groups is always a problem. Friday night young crowd is always a hit and miss as far as attendance. I don’t recommend bringing child into a bar, pub, or establishment serving alcohol. But if you must bring them make sure to be seated away from the bar and pool tables.

WOW, what a cool place, kids are welcome indoor and outdoor dining. GREAT FOOD always fresh and freshly prepared. The best french fries EVER according to my granddaughter. They are very good and crispy outside..games for kids and adults, salad bar was fresh and full. Full bar, lovely friendly atmosphere. Nothing wrong here! Fresh fried fish in beer batter! Yummy. Great portions too. Check it out it’s worth the drive to Dowagiac MI, a quaint little downtown area surrounds it. Pricing is very fair anywhere from 6$ to 26$ Dollar menu selection. Many selections to choose from too.

Food was OK. Service was slow. But the big surprise was when we received the bill. They charged us $3.00 for glasses of tap water and $1.00 for the lemon slices for my wife’s fish!!!! Where else in the country do they charge for tap water? And I bought a beer, too. There was, of course, no warning of this on the menu. Just one bid $4.00 ( plus tax) RIPOFF! Stay away from this place!

Had a bad experience, wait staff and bar tenders were friendly. But were overwhelmed. We had to give our order 3 times. We ordered the Number 1 item on the valentines special menu the ribeye and was told it would take 30 more minutes (after being there an hour and a half giving our order for the third time.) to thaw before cooking. After being there for 2 hours we still did not receive our salad. We asked for our bar tab and the food was finally ready. When we got the steaks they were horrible and the potato’s were dry and over cooked. We ended up leaving our food there, the gift certificate payment was kept and we and picked up Burger King for our Valentine’s Day dinner! We came there from a distance because we won a certificate from a charity event to try out a new place for a valentines date and it completely ruined our night. I suggest if the owners can’t plan to staff for a national date night they come in and help their self!

Calzone dough was good, everything in it wasn’t. Cheese was cheese. All the innards of the calzone were slimy and undercooked. My burger on the other hand was cast into the lake of fire, and pulled back out a few light years later. The king had to heat the furnace 7 times hotter to toast my bun apparently. Sturdy steak knives in case of a mass shooter.

James had the perfect recommendations. Pizza and beer might sound like nothing, but it was perfect to me. Went right with the hot sauce and cooled it down with the four Giants tropical IPA.

I had a rough time even doing 3 stars. What they had going for them….the server was nice, prices were good (except menu said $2 for fries and we got charged $2.5) and the sandwiches were decent. End of story. The service was unacceptably slow, the food took forever to come out, beer and pop were both flat, fryer oil was old, even took forever to pay. We were in town on a college visit for our daughter and her friend and wanted to try somewhere local. This was a bad look for the area.
