Happened upon the Worster House completely by accident while driving through Madison…and we are SO glad we did! The vibe is super low key which initially caught my attention because those are usually the best places (definitely the case for this place) so we gave it a try. We ordered a couple bacon cheeseburgers, a can of coke, and a cheesy bacon fry. The price tag was extremely fair and the portions were definitely filling. The burgers were fresh, juicy, and dressed perfectly, but the real star of the show for me was the fries
I’m sure just plain they are amazing too, but that liquid gold cheese and an insane amount of bacon brought them over the top. This is a must stop if you’re out in this area of Maine!

The food is absolutely Phenomenal!! All employees are incredible, friendly with a great sense of humor.
I brought my sister from PA here a few days ago and we had the bacon wrapped meatloaf dinner, we picked, hand cut fries and Italian pasta salad for the 2 sides it came with.
If you haven’t been to the Worster House yet, you really should stop in and give it a try. There is a wide variety to choose from & Your taste buds will thank you!!

The owners are as good as the food! They treated us like family, and went above and beyond our expectations! It can be really difficult to find a good local place with good food and equally good service in our area, and Worster House more than exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a few great meals prior, which led us to having them cater our wedding, which was amazing! Great people, beautiful family, affordable prices for good food, what more could you ask for? Def recommend anyone give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I went in for takeout a few days ago. I am a regular there and usually get to deal with Peggy, who is amazing! I had to deal with a different woman this time. I am unsure of her name, but she was tall and thin. While I normally do not comment on other’s appearances, this woman looked and smelled terrible. She had hickeys all over her neck as well. She was quite rude to me when I asked questions about menu items. I have concerns about her cleanliness considering her odor and the fact that she DID NOT USE GLOVES when prepping my food. I honestly just threw it away. I never saw her wash her hands before making my food either. I have been coming here for awhile and love Ryan and Peggy, but if these are the types of people who will be working there, I will not continue to support this business. When running a food business, cleanliness should be the #1 priority!

There are picnic tables for dining on site and curbside delivery for orders placed in advance.
Peggy made a special request for something that wasn’t on the menu. My friend was blown away by her buffalo chicken wrap which was loaded with freshly breaded and fried chicken.
I’d give 10 stars if possible!

I went here once last summer when they were serving from a tent outside across the street from Taylor’s drug store and I got a few tacos and they were cold and just bad but I’ve been seeing that make posts online and it looked good so I wanted to try it again. I spent $24 on two bacon cheese burgers and a fry and the fries were not cooked all the way through and the burgers were bloody. The bacon was almost raw. And they were so slopped together that you couldn’t even pick it up without falling apart. I see everyone else is leaving good reviews, so maybe I just have bad luck. But honestly, I would not recommend.

This man has some serious cooking skills. We got burgers and tacos here and I’ve never had better of either one anywhere else. Fast and friendly service especially for a one man show. The burgers beat five guys – flavor and price! This was our first time trying Worster House and certainly will not be the last. Also, portions are more than satisfying! Incredible job

Was there yesterday for lunch – food was phenomenal! Quick, inexpensive. Will definitely go back. Employee was very nice as well! Especially considering we got there right as he was opening so he was still firing everything up.
