YUCK!!! The old redhead server is nasty & rude. She has waited on me before and it was nasty service elsewhere. The food is overpriced and underwhelming. 100 year old frozen grey fish. The decor is clearance items from the dollar store. Barrels with glass tops so there is no way to sit under the tables. What a waste of time and space. Just another endless supply of dumps to eat at in Long Beach.

Had the fish tacos and tuna fish and chips. Fish tacos were delicious, light batter and not greasy.
Wish they have more descriptions of the beers they have. Ordered a berry sour and it had lactose. Wouldn’t have order it if I knew that.

Stopped by for lunch on my daughter’s birthday. I had the ahi tuna fish and chips. Pretty good! Not the best I’ve ever had, but pretty good. Staff seemed friendly, but stressed. Whatever it was I hope it gets better. The place is for sale, so perhaps that had something to do with it. Good beverage selection and a relaxed no hurry atmosphere.

Great little pub. The food was delicious. We had halibut fish and chips and a halibut wrap. The beers were also tasty. We had Nebula an oatmeal stout, one of the best I’ve ever had and 2 IPAs which were also very good.
They handle the staff shortage in a fair and friendly way.
We will be back and others should try it out..highly recommended.

Looking for Seafood, since we were at the coast. The “Cannon Balls” (deep fried mushrooms) were the best thing we had at this location. The Chowder was pretty good. The fish and chips were below what we were expecting. Small and not tasty.

Staffing was two people, one counter and one cook. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, but 1/2 to 3/4 full when we left. You order at the counter, pickup at the counter, and bus your own table.

The decorations were fitting and nice for the restaurant style and menu.

A sign at the cash register said “The restaurant was forvsale.”

Only good things to say about this place! The waitress/bartender was so friendly and very welcoming from the time we walked in. The crab melt… Omggg
Mellow atmosphere and tons of cool stuff to look at while you’re eating or just hanging out having a drink. It’s family friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my children on our next trip. Just overall a pretty cool place with great staff. So good that we went there for both nights of our weekend vacay in Long Beach 10 out of 10 recommend!

Fantastic joint. Tasteful (and fun) decor, a clean environment, friendly and fast service, and delicious food make for an exceptional dining/drinking experience.

The halibut fish and chips, chowder, and fish tacos were all exceedingly fresh and colorful, and are highly recommended. The drink variety is extensive and we were pleased to see that there were a number of options on the kids menu.

10/10 would gladly dine here again!

Made ourselves regulars here during our stay in the area. The cod fish n chips were SOOO good. Locally brewed beer was tasty. Even on a very very busy weekend (4th of july) it wasn’t very busy inside at all. The barrels made into tables smell so good when you walk in. The bartender server lady was trying really really hard to be nice, our first few visits she was short & seemed annoyed to serve us. Overall, a really great place w good beer & delicious food!

Wow, after reading the reviews i just had to include my input, if you’re worried about no masks then simply don’t go!! Why would you put yourself in a situation you’re not comfortable with THEN complain, its simply asinine. Don’t criticize this business because you chose to enter when you DIDNT HAVE TO. (They inform you with an entrance sign masks are a choice to enter) they’re following guidlines and have been approved to run their establishment, masks are not required.. sorry but some of these people complaining are just mind boggling. Stay home and complain there!
This place is great! Food, service and my hubby loves the beer. The interior is super fun! Don’t let these other reviews convince you.

Brenda and Bryan are the nicest people. We love supporting their business. Its nice to just sit and look at all they have on display inside and enjoy a drink or enjoy their fish tacos (our favorite).

Loved the cod fish and chips, homemade coleslaw and cranberry sour beer. Our server was great! Don’t listen to those nasty reviews. We’ve had lots of fish and chips as 9 yr fulltime RVers across the US. This area high!
