We stopped in sunday night on the 21st for a drink. We were lured in by all the beer and decor of beer on the outside, and also it had food, and it was open late and in proximity. We sat down at the bar, and the bartenders, Dani and Courtney, were on shift and exceptional. The food was ok its a bar, not a Michelin star restaurant, but it was great to have with that amazing selection of beers. They had beers from all over the world and a very impressive list. The menu they put in front of you does not contain the full list; you need to scan the barcode and look online. The best part of the night was having amazing bartenders who took the time, were not in a rush, and made sure everyone was enjoying their time. We will definitely be back and hope Dani and Courtney are there again.

This had all the potential for being a great experience but our encounter left us saying no thank you we are okay with never returning or crossing the threshold of any other World of Beer again. If we hadn’t experienced other World of Beers including this location in the past we would have never taken our party or made the suggestion. Jazz “or server/bartender” were an absolute nightmare the place was not busy yet this girl acted like we were an absolute bother visiably rollingher eyes at us and then ignoreing and going to the end of the bar and talking to what looked like an employee from the kitchen on their break(should have been our first clue). She did not know how to mix a drink, nor seemed to know anything about what beers they had on tap or available. Now we were in what she called the “overflow bar area” upstairs and if we need or wanted to know what other options they had we would have to go to the bar downstairs. Overall just such a disappointment. The food was okay, and for the most part what we expected but I thi k the Mayo bottle was the last straw for me and just show the lack of care, cleanliness ,and service at this location has made it Clare that World of Beers standards have declined and we will spend our local and vacation money else where and be sure to tell friends and locals to avoid all together.

The atmosphere is very inviting the bartender Jasmine was inviting! Jasmine made my birthday week she made an awesome lemon drip shot it was refreshing! She was very attentive and engaging and accommodating! I recommend that you visit world of beer and ask for Jasmine! Her humor is really great she’s funny!

Beer and atmosphere was great, but the service isn’t good at all. Waitress gets side tracked and forgets to bring us the beer orders so we had to constantly get up and go to the bar and order. If you can’t handle the job its time to get another.

Great selection of beers from all over the world and local too! Jasmine was an amazing server! The hot honey pepperoni flatbread was delicious and recommended! Vibes and music were excellent and you can grab a table outside and enjoy a smoke.

They have a lot of beer.
Don’t order at the bar if you sit at a table. There needs to be a sign or something to alert new customers.
We walked in and ordered drinks at the bar and then sat at a table.
Led to a very strange sequence of interactions.
Yummy quesadillas and tots tho.

I work in Downtown Savannah, and my mom and I are in here pretty often for lunch, at least once a week or every two weeks. I understand a business has on and off days, but today was so off it was laughable.

Our server was an older gentleman who had obviously never waited tables before. That, or he’d had one too many shift beers (Mom swore she could smell it on his breath.) Our order took a while to be taken, then took a while to be input. Then the real waiting began. According to the kitchen ticket which our server inexplicably brought us, the order went in at 12:23. It was finally delivered to the table at 1:03, a full forty minutes later. In the meantime, I had to leave and go back to work, and Mom asked for the food to be boxed up to go, as we’d already overstayed our lunch break.

The final nail in the coffin was when we finally got to sit down at eat back at the office, Mom’s order was wrong. The kitchen ticket clearly says smashburger sliders; what she received was chicken sliders. Both front of house *and* back of house were off their game in a big way today.

Normally, I have no problems getting in and out of WOB for my lunch hour, and the food is usually great, but now obviously I’ll have to skip out on coming back. Which is a shame, because the food is normally pretty good.

We stopped here to eat dinner and watch the college football game. Beers were cold, food was great, service was awesome! Too bad the whole experience was ruined when I checked my credit card statement and saw they padded the tip. That’s theft and fraud. I hope the extra $2 in their pocket was worth the 1 star review.

I usually love the World of Beer, but when I went yesterday (1/1/26) for the UGA vs. Ole Miss game, I had the craziest (negative connotation) experience of my life. I was at a large table, and we were eager to spend money on drinks and food. However, the waitress refused to look at our table and was only able to deliver 2 drinks per person over the span of 5 hours. The waitress also continually lied about drinks being out, as one of my friends ordered a Stella and she claimed there were no more; but when we went to the bar there was an entire shelf’s worth. Not only was the service terrible, but there were two patrons who were obnoxious, drunk, and harassing every single person in the bar. These men should’ve been asked to leave the minute they started touching all of the patrons. Not to mention that both of those men could barely stand, and they continually hurled slurs at the TV and other patrons. Lastly, I want to add that I had to ask for a water 4 separate times and waited 4 hours until I was able to get one cup. There is usually a water pitcher for all guests, but it was empty. After being told the check couldn’t be split more than 4 ways, our waitress received her auto gratuity and we sprinted as fast as we could as far away as possible from the World of Beer.

I’ve been to several World of Beers, but here in Savannah you feel like you’re on an episode of “Cheers”. Kayla and Sean are amazing. Food is great and the vibes are here! Definetly a worth stopping by for a drink and a good meal.
