Foods been sitting for a while and was ok. Place was pretty dead for a Saturday night, which should had been the sign that its not good.
We sat next to service booth and for some reason, they didn’t even bring us our drink until we had to ask again.
100 bucks for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Came here after a christening. Large room for our group. It was a hot day and the air conditioner wasn’t amp up for how many people were in the restaurant. There was only one attendant for our party. The buffet area was very hot. I wasn’t into the food. The sushi rolls did not taste fresh. It was a let down. The only good thing good about it was the sesame balls. They were freshly hot and delicious. Fresh fruit wasn’t cold enough.

World Gourmet Buffet is a dazzling dining experience that truly lives up to its name! I’m visiting from San Diego and from the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a vibrant atmosphere and an incredible selection of dishes to choose from. The food is great quality and they constantly put out more when it is low.

But the real star of the show is the dessert bar – a paradise of cakes, pastries, and sweets that will satisfy any craving. World Gourmet Buffet isn’t just a meal; it’s an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or just looking for a delicious and diverse dining option, this is the place to be!

I really enjoyed the fried sushi, which is a salmon or crab salad roll with a fried layer on top. The BBQ products such as beef short ribs and roasted pork ribs were done well. I can see that this place would cater well to both the traditional Chinese and American taste.

We were happened to be in this Fremont Area so we decided to give it a shot for the first time.
I been eyeing this buffet restaurant for awhile now but it is a little bit of a drive for me. We had a nice experience having lunch here. They offers many different options!!!!! Great Seafoods, Sushi, Crawfish, Clams, Crabs, Soups, Veggies, Desserts, Sweets, Dumplings, Dim Sum, and many flavors of Ice Creams for desserts!!!!!!
Love their interior designs. Colorful Arts and Displays inside!!! Beautiful Koi fish pond!
Big Spacious Seatings area. I definitely enjoyed eating here!!! Absolutely worth the Drive and $$

The selection is impressive! There’s a wide variety of dishes catering to different tastes. The dessert bar was a highlight for me: plenty of cakes, pastries, and a make-your-own ice cream station that kids (and kids at heart) will love. Everything I tried tasted fresh and was regularly replenished.

The staff were friendly and attentive despite the restaurant being quite busy. Plates were cleared promptly, and they were quick to assist with any requests.

As far as buffets go this was a mid as they come.
Nothing specifically notable but of course nothing was bad either.
Decent assortment of sushi which were all actually pretty solid.

Lunch prices are fair but nights aren’t really worth the price for the menu in my opinion.

If your nearby and looking for a buffet, this place isn’t a bad try.

With all honesty the food is not good at all. In my opinion the price of buffet you pay I am expecting for better quality food. It was disappointing, the soda was water down , from dessert to food its taste aweful. My hope that management will take time to access the quality of food.
I dont plan going back or recommending this place.

09.15.25 11:30am Adult Lunch $17.99, Seniors -10%. Still good buffet, fresh, clean, tasty.

Better than; Milpitas Buffet (your regular subpar Chinese buffet), Tomi Sushi & Seafood Buffet (untasty food, not good sushi), Newark Buffet (tiny restaurant w.few choices).

New World Gourmet Buffet has a huge selection of dishes, I’d stay away from the sushi section except for maybe the seaweed salad. Cold seafood items are good, fresh, or shrimp, mussels w.lemon or cocktail sauce. The hot food was nice, fresh, hot, and good. The fin soup was the best out of the soup selections but still just ok. Pastry dessert isn’t worth any tummy real estate, fresh fruit is good if you stay away from the obvious canned items.

All in all way too much selection, just get a single bite worth of food then decide to get more later on, food selection is huge; dumplings, fried food, stir Fry’s, made to order Mongolian stir fry, fish, mussels, shrimp, pork ribs, stir fried eggplant, chicken wings, etc, located in a good area with plenty of parking & tables, service was good, their tea is awful, some weird medicinal tasting Chinese tea at $1.99/cup, just avoid & drink water or maybe soda.
