Wow! Cannot believe we have not visited this place yet! Totally awesome vibe here! The owner, Chris, was quick to give us a little background and history about not only the establishment, but also the unique history of the town and area. Situated on the Cuyahoga River, they have a great kayak/canoe area for the in-season time. They just started a karaoke and wing night on Wednesdays that sounds like an excellent time. Many daily specials offered throughout the week. It was only a pitstop on our way home from a road trip, but we will definitely be back.

It was a slow Saturday on my visit. I guess Ohio bikers get a little scared of a few clouds in the sky. Other than that, it was a perfect day for motorcycling.
The bartender was friendly and the beer cold, although pricey at $4/bottle. Ribs were decent…not the best, but I felt like I got what I paid for.
Shot pours were measured out with the precision of a professional chemist… :/

This is a great place to rent a kayak , grab a drink ,and something to eat . I was working dropping some clients off with a Limo bus ,and Chris greeted me at the front and accommodated me with a parking space for the Limo bus. I had the Walleye during my wait ,and very biker friendly place .Super friendly staff and that dive bar feel whick is awesome.

We drive by this place all the time on our way back & forth to Cleveland. We’ve been wanting to stop and see what’s going on at this place. We always see lots of people, action, and stuff going on here.
I ordered the burger & fries. My wife got the BBQ ribs. Both meals were good, no complaints. The waitress was friendly and attentive.
This is also where Crooked River Adventures rent kayaks and canoes from. They’ve really tried to build this place up as much as possible. Big outdoor area’s to sit, extra large outdoor bar, and much more.
This establishment is biker friendly which means most likely you will see “biker types” here. If that offends you, might want to go somewhere else. Keep in mind that we are all just people trying to relax and enjoy life. Don’t be so uptight !

Great place to eat, hang out, play music on the jukebox or play pool! Bartender is super friendly and overall atmosphere and staff interactions were positive. Come Fridays for the Fish Fry!! Super good

We walked in on sat afternoon and were the only people in the place. The waitress/bartender was rude and seemed bothered that we were there. She then informed us that there was no cook, so we could only order fried food. We ordered a few fried apps and asked for water to drink. The waitress brought us bottled waters, and when we said we just wanted tap water, she told us they didn’t serve tap water there. Then she brought us a stack of plates. The plate on top had grease and crumbs on it, we figured we’d just not use that one, but all 5 of the other plates in the stack were also greasy and had food on them. We asked for napkins, because we didn’t want to use the plates and the waitress seemed annoyed we wanted napkins. Once the food arrived the fried pickles, fries, and onion rings were decent, but the chicken tenders were raw inside and inedible. I drive by this place frequently and it often looks busy,so maybe we were just there on a bad day, but I won’t be stopping there ever again.

Great food!!! My favorites are the humongous breaded walleye dinner & BBQ ribs!!!! Beer specials are awesome!!!Atmosphere is hit or miss, Crowd or bands playing that day dictates the vibe otherwise Thumbs up!!!
