This is a unique spot to grab some delicious fried chicken. The place has a bit of a dive-bar vibe to it, with TVs and loud music playing. They have live DJs and karaoke as well depending on the day. The menu is focused on fried chicken, with different styles and spice levels to pick from. We ended up trying the chicken and waffles which were delicious and was a large enough portion for two people to share. Service was friendly and our food came out quickly. Overall I recommend trying this spot out of you’re a fan of fried chicken!

Went for early dinner/ late lunch & it was a ✨vibe✨. Had 2 children in my party and they spent so much time looking at the walls you didn’t even realize the wait for food or service. Service was great, no complaints. Food was great and I’d go back. Food came out piping hot and that’s a huge plus for me.

The owner is a really nice guy. He took his time and explained the entire menu and discussed the different events they have throughout the week. The food was FRESH. Definitely try the HUGE loaded baked potato and the chicken and waffles….delicious

Had lunch at Hot Boys in Carmel and let me just say — from the moment we walked in to the time we checked out, it was an awesome experience!
The greeter and waitress were on point, taking time to explain how everything works. Found out they’ve got live DJ nights, trivia, karaoke — definitely follow them on Instagram to stay in the loop.
It was my first time there, so we came ready to rate everything:
Chicken: A+
Waffle: A+
We were even given samples of the mac & cheese, greens, and chicken étouffée:
Greens: A+
Chicken Étouffée: A+
Mac & Cheese: Great flavor, but I’m more of a baked soul food mac fan — just personal preference.
Overall: Customer service, food seasoning, flavor, and atmosphere were all top tier. Will definitely be back — and bringing people with me!

I got the chicken wrap with medium sauce and the greens. The wrap is seriously big enough for two people so the $15 price seems to be worth it if you bring someone with you. The greens although a little sweet for my taste were very good, and I actually drank what was juice left in the bottom of the cup. On a further note, I am a pepper head, I like hot and spicy. That being said if you are an amateur pepper head do not I repeat do not take the one strip challenge. That is no joke. I’ve eaten habaneros I’ve eaten ghost chilies I’ve done the one chip challenge and that one gigantic strip of chicken damn near killed me, lol. I went there at lunch and had to wait till dinner before I could actually eat my wrap. Still would give it a 10 out of 10 great atmosphere people were great they were fun.

We saw this restaurant on TikTok and decided to stop in. We were tired from traveling so we opted to do take out. The host who took our order was nice and explained everything. It didn’t take long for our food to come out. The food was absolutely delicious and was still hot when we got back to our hotel. We would recommend this place! We even plan to come back next time we are in Indianapolis to try something else off of their menu.

Bar atmosphere, staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Food, wings, and fries were very good. Very tasteful rub on the wings. In-house sauce for the fries was also very good. Alcohol a bit pricey, but you are in Carmel, soooooo. Definitely recommend

My go to local spot for hot chicken. I usually get the tender meal, the tenders are made from good high quality meat and breaded a moderate amount. They have a fair texture which is light on the crunch but big on flavor and there is no mistaking anything but the chicken for the star of the show.
I generally choose med+ for heat which i rank somewhere between the bw3’s mango habenero and blazin depending on the day. Occasionally I move up to hot and it is definitely a contemporary of blazin on heat.
Fries are always a good side as is the coleslaw.
A nod to the baked potato as a fun change of pace, and a moment of appreciation for the breakfast burrito being one of the most unexpected smash hits on the menu.

I ordered a Blanton’s on the rocks with my lunch. A bottle of Blanton’s retails for $120/bottle. I’m thinking, $120 for the bottle divided by16 shots to a bottle is $7.50, with a 5x markup it should be less than $40 bucks.
The bill showed up and it was $90. This isn’t a bougie bourbon bar or even a steakhouse. It’s a Nashville Hot Chicken restaurant in a strip mall on Michigan Road. The waitress didn’t mention the price. The bartender came and asked me if I wanted it neat or on the rocks and didn’t mention the price.
I’ve been to this place 3 or 4 times. I’ve loved it every time. The chicken is delicious and the service is pretty good. However, I’ll never go back after they picked my pocket.

Definitely my go to chicken place. Welcoming staff and great tasting food. The tender sandwich is the best I’ve had anywhere…hands down! The etouffee has amazing flavor!! The owners, Kyle and Aaron are super friendly and welcoming. They make it a point to talk to all the guests in the restaurant. You absolutely need to go to here!!
