Beautiful view of the beach!
If you ask for the window seat, server will let you seat at there:)

We had wonderful time in this amazing brunch cafe. We ordered a lobster and steak Benedict, even lobster tastes little fishy and tastes like a crabmeat and the portions of the protein was not good enough for me,but we still love them all overall:)
The acai bowl was great with peanut butter and granola!
You can make a reservation before you visit through the google or open table!

My wife searched and found this place for our family of 10 to go(kids and grandkids). I had read some good reviews. It was our favourite meal on this trip so far. The food and service were excellent. Our server took great care of us and the 4 grandkids. The food did come out super fast-maybe a little too fast at times . If you are looking for seafood on the ocean, you cannot go wrong with this place.

Great food and drinks along the boardwalk in Pacific Beach. Missy had the Seafood Taco Sampler. A taco trio of crispy cod, achiote shrimp, and a calamari frito. I had tasty Beef Machaca Con Huevos. Eggs scrambled with shredded sirloin beef & Mexican chorizo, w/ sautéed peppers, onions, tomato & choice of flour or corn tortillas. Both entree’s were terrific with Missy commenting that her tacos were excellent and World Famous is her favorite restaurant along the boardwalk. They also have a good draft selection and a large bar for cocktails. We were able to get nice seating on a spectacular Saturday afternoon in January. Reservations make getting the best seating easier. Recommended.

Loved everything. The zero proof drinks were very good. We had a table of 7 and a toddler. She was very attentive and accommodating.
The crab cakes were thee best 10/10, im really picky when it comes to shellfish dishes and so fricken good.
Potato wrapped Sea bass 9/10.
I got the seared salmon 9/10. The only reason it lost a point was the corn on the cob, had to hold it and with the dish being so delicate it didn’t match. It matched in flavor and all ingredients were delicious.
Dynamite shrimp was 8/10. Very fresh, just not peticular fan of shrimp.
The other family members mentions were;
Lobster bisque was taste
Lobster salad was fresh
Shrimp scampi was also worth it.
The only thing i didn’t like was the bread. It was a bit hard and crusty for my liking. It might be good in soups, but not as a appetizer.
Overall and we’ll come back when in the area!

We visited for brunch on and Monday. The outside seating was quite busy but we managed to find a table. Our order was taken very quickly and the food also arrived very quickly. We had eggs benedict, and the steak sizzler hash. Both were delicious. There aren’t too many food options looking out on the ocean, so this is a nice spot.

We had a large group ranging across more than six decades in age. Everyone was very happy with their meal, which extended from pasta for children and seafood and vegetarian dishes for adults. Pleading such a group is not an easy feat! That said, I would happily return for a quiet meal with adults.

A quick brunch after a morning of surfing that satisfied and delivered. Not too busy when we were there so got seated right away with beautiful panoramic view of ocean, beach, surfers, etc. friendly service (our server Hannah was very nice) I ordered the açaí bowl which was phenomenal. I practically inhaled it. Bathroom situation was a little lackluster, awkward path to get there with one sink and paper towel dispenser that didn’t work at the time of our visit. Other than that however, everything was fabulous and we look forward to returning in the future.

We were bummed when Fat Fish closed years ago, but the same family owns World Famous down the street. They have the same amazing tacos and Lobster Bisque; but with a beautiful ocean view as well! This has quickly become one of our favorite spots to grab a bite and have a nice walk on the boardwalk. They also validate 2 hours of parking at the underground garage next door.

Delicious seafood dinner at World Famous in Pacific Beach. Great relaxing vibe and right on the ocean with a beautiful view. The food was tasty, we had the crab stuffed roasted mushrooms, clam chowder, lobster bisque, swordfish Veracruz, and potato-wrapped seabass. Yummy cocktails too; we enjoyed the put the lime in the coconut and get tiki with it. Nice dog friendly patio. Great service, very friendly and accommodating. Recommend!

Popped in here from a review of a Dutch Harbor, ALaska fisherman! He recommended World Famous, a Pacific Beach, CA front Restaurant. – Taste Warm Spinach Salad.

After “the Lime ‍ in the coconut Margarita” and a friendly chat with locals, I ordered the Taco 3 Fish Sampler, on there recommended!

Thanks Shelly & Debbie!
