By far the best steak in town! We’ve been to a few places now trying steaks and if you haven’t been to woodys you are missing out. The restaurant is nice and the waitress we had was spot on !! The bread and butter was amazing. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The waitress waited on each person to cut into their steak to approve the doneness. Great place to celebrate my Inlaws 50th. They even had her a rose

Not enough stars to rate Woody’s as high as it should be. Exceptional service, food, and atmosphere every time we dine here.
I’ve been here a total of 5 times since my wife surprised me with a birthday dinner here last August.
I’ve ordered the ribeye with the peppercorn cognac sauce each time, and it has been served perfectly cooked and seasoned every time. It would be hard to convince me that a better steak could be found elsewhere.
The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic dinner, and every one of the staff members has treated and served us exceptionally well.
Definitely one of Mississippi’s hidden gems!

Forgot to take a pic of our entree’s but my husband and I were coming to tupelo for shopping and a movie and I just googled the best restaurant in Tupelo and this place was #1 and I have to agree! We drove almost 2 hours and are already planning to come back! The entire staff was incredibly nice and our waitress Kerri was awesome!

Had dinner at Woody’s to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Excellent food and service and the setting is great. There is only one thing that made the experience less than perfect and that were the glasses. Drinking $15/glass wines from small, thick wine glasses that I wouldn’t even use for a BBQ in the backyard is so strange to me. Part of the fun of spending $90 per person on dinner is drinking good wine from beautiful large glasses with long stems, makes it special. My “long pour” didn’t really fit in the glass, they had to fill it to the rim to make it work. Same goes for the cognac I had after dinner. It had the shape of a cognac glass but was the size of a shot glass. Woody’s is the only restaurant in this price range that I know that does this. Again, great food, service and atmosphere, all worth 5 stars but the experience was only a 4.

It was amazing. We had the shrimp and grits, chopped steak, firecracker shrimp, and creme brûlée and I don’t know if I will ever have a meal this life changing ever again. And the best part is that I have celiac and was able to have gluten free fried food with no worry of cross-contamination. They have a dedicated fryer. Best choice I’ve ever made possibly in my whole life

Woody’s is a diamond of a restaurant. The food was AMAZING, I had the pasta fusion, and my wife had the aloha steak. The snicker ravioli desert was crazy good, and the raspberry butter is to die for.
Feather is the manager and hats off to her and standing applause because you run an absolutely great restaurant.

The Chicken Paccata was so delicious. The sauce was very savory without overpowering the meat. My husband’s ribeye looked equally as savory so I was “gifted” 2 bites. I don’t know if I could choose which was best…. because both entrees were very delicious. Guess it’s a tie!
Definitely 10/10 recommend. Woody’s will probably be our new date night out go to restaurant for the best food we’ve had in Tupelo…EVER!
