Pleasantly surprised. We stopped at random for lunch on a Monday, and boy did they deliver! The prices were at first seemingly slightly overpriced Mexican food, rather typical, but I was mistaken. The food was plentiful in flavor and portion, the service was friendly and down to earth, and the experience was great all around.

They have deals for the day and I got a prickly pear margarita for $5 that was delicious. Its flavor was very intense but well balanced, as the ice diluted the drink became perfect.

The chips were crunchy and salted, and the salsa reminded me of my mother’s. Simple but good spices and not egregiously spicy, just enough to give the flavor some drive. Not my personal favorite kind of salsa but it was free and well made nonetheless.

I got the chicken fajitas for $17 and they arrived as a magnificent pile of sizzle. I made two stuffed tacos with all the fajita ingredients and barely made a dent in the pan. Absolutely delicious seasoning, it was salted in such a balanced way that it was enough to make me stop to admire the salt balance, which is not a typical thought of mine lol. Definitely worth the money and then some.

My love got street style chicken tacos and thoroughly enjoyed them, commenting on the chicken seasoning which looked rather similar to my fajitas.

Our total bill was $41 for 2 margaritas and two entrees, we both took a box of food home that will easily give us both a second meal.

Overall Solid experience, would recommend to others.

What a great place!!! The dining room is decorated tastefully and on point with a tequila bar. The margaritas are truly delicious and pretty. Shrimp tacos were tasty. Our server, Melissa, was busy but attentive. We’ll be back for sure

This place is decent and has a large menu selection. I had Santa Fe marinated shrimp fajitas, the portion is great tho the seasoning is a bit saltier than my liking, just my personal preference. I also had the taco & tequila dip sampler, i am a fan of the mango salsa.

It is even better with their weekly special, pleasantly surprised by the price of the fajitas on Thursday!

Food was very good, and you can see and taste the quality. Prices were good for the portion sizes. Definitely more enjoyable than most of the “Mexican” food you get in the area. Will definitely be in my normal rotation of eateries in the area.

Swung by for a Sunday lunch. Place was pretty empty and we (Party of 5) were sat immediately.

Ordered Mango & Crab Quesadillas, 2 Chipotle Chicken burritos, and Ground beef tacos.

Mango & Crab quesadillas were good, but nothing amazing. Mango salsa was good and the glaze was great, but the crab meat was overshadowed by the overhweming taste of cheese and red onions.

Both of those that ordered the Chicken Burritos enjoyed them. One claimed that the chipotle wasn’t spicy enough, while the other said that the rice was definitely the highlight.

The beef tacos were said to be a complete letdown. They were overcooked, dry, and lacked much flavor.

The wife also ordered the “Rosarita” Margarita. She said it was well made and loved the blue curacao.

This place is good to go to on a whim, but I wouldn’t go out of my way. I would visit again if they had some sort of special. Unfortunately, I didn’t think the food was quite up to par for the price.

From the missionary door, I entered the threshold of by far one of the best restaurants I have ate at since my move to Maryland! From the warm smiles of the staff greeting you to your seat, to the quaint picturesque parlor that awaits you this has been one of the most pleasureable dining experiences I have had period. The food is phenomenal, would have took pictures but I was too busy enjoying the atmosphere and watching the owner interact so warmly with my family. Felt as if I were at home. Thanks again for the wonderful experience and I will definitely be back again really soon.

First time trying this place, the waitress was very sweet & patient. Atmosphere was nice, wasn’t overly crowded. Food came fairly quickly and was very good!

First time here. Grilled chicken tacos weren’t nothing to brag about. The quesadilla however was very good and would recommend it. Service was good and lots of seating. Was a little to hot inside. Maybe could turn the fans on. Drinks were on point. Would definitely go back.

I really wanted to like this place, I did. I asked our server to not hold any of the food; to bring everything out once it was ready. We had to continuously ask for chips, salsa, and drink refills. The kitchen and the bar service were slow. We waited over an hour for our food. When our food finally arrived, my sons fries were warm and my fajitas were room temperature. MY FAJITAS WERE ROOM TEMPERATURE! Fajitas are served with a firing sizzling sound…mine had no sound. I sent my food back; which I hate to do because I know it gets thrown away and I hate to be wasteful, but I couldn’t eat those room temperature fajitas after waiting over an hour for them. 2nd attempt they were warmer, but still not hot. They tasted almost as if someone microwaved my previous plate. 3rd attempt was spot on. I really hope no one spit in my food. I wasn’t trying to be difficult; I just wanted sizzling fajitas. That was my issue with my food. Two of my nephews loved their burritos and my daughter loved her crab/mango quesadillas. My Cadillac margarita was on point, but my Rosarita was just okay. I’ll give this place 3 stars instead of 1 star because the manager did come out and explain that they were short staffed, and he took a meal off the bill. Overall I won’t be back. There are too many authentic Mexican restaurants near me to travel the distance I did to return back here.

This is a cool little place! I really like the atmosphere and they have ALL the tequila! The seimbra tequila is probably the smoothest I have ever had. The Gema Iguanas is soooo vanilla tasting, but not sweet- just really delicious. And the Agavero is like a dessert tequila! Go drink all the tequila! I have been here a couple times, and I’ll be honest about the food – its not bad food. People really really like it! But its not what I think of when I think of “Mexican” food. So I think if you go in with an open mind about that, you won’t be disappointed! We had the enchiladas verde and the steak fajitas. I would have gone lighter on the cheese over the enchiladas, so you could see the “verde.” …maybe one more tortilla for the fajitas…but the salsa is really really good! It has a bunch of fresh oregano in it!
