Woody’s Oasis Mediterranean Deli was where I first tried a falafel and eggplant wrap, and it left a lasting impression. The food felt honest and flavorful, made with care rather than rush. I remember the chef smiling when I asked for extra spice in my wrap, surprised at how much heat I wanted. He got it just right. The flavors came together beautifully, and for someone who eats vegetarian, the choices here were not just adequate but satisfying. Each dish seemed to have its own character.
The fried aubergine stood out the most. It was light, crisp, and soft in the center, close to what you might get in a home kitchen in the Mediterranean. The wraps were well made, easy to eat, and always filling. I never had to think twice about what to order because everything on the menu seemed dependable.
What made Woody’s special for me was also how affordable it was. I worked upstairs at the Asian Cultural Center, and this place quickly became my go-to spot for lunch. It was simple, friendly, and quick, which mattered on busy days. The food, though, never felt rushed. It always carried the warmth of a small place that cares about what it serves.

Juicy kafta, pairs well with the refreshing vegetables and sauce. The falafel wrap is delicious as well. Staff is super friendly and service was quick.

Their food is not bad most of the time but recently I’ve been getting the chicken shawarma and rice that they have and I’m so sad each time as the rice is very uncooked and hard. I end up having to throw the food away because after just 5 minutes of trying to eat it despite the uncooked rice, my tears flood my plate.

I ate here frequently for lunch and loved their falafel.

They could use some traditional sauces and pickles inside pita falafel and that would make it my favorite.

Used to have great gyros, but my last visit was awful. They forgot my order and then gave me a gyro so greasy the wrap fell apart instantly. The food also was cold and overall a bad experience.

Extremely salty for most dishes. The grape leaf roll is greasy and has no flavor. The noodle soup is fine, the sweet snacks are good, without these two I’ll give zero star.

Their service is horrible. In just 10 minutes they made couple of mismatch. My food was given to another customer, while I was waiting that customer returned the food, csr took it back inside and served me 5 minutes later. Several other customers also had wrong food item in their to go bag. It was lunch time but wasn’t that busy. Food also not good, salad and hummus were loaded with vinegar, it was so sour that I could not finish it.

That olive burger was really good, and surprisingly filling. Woody’s Oasis is 2 for 2 in my book now (the chicken kabob I had here last week was equally satisfying)

Healthy alternative to conventional lunch fare. I try to keep my dollars on MSU campus now because East Lansing city policies are proving to be unfriendly to MSU employees. So I’ll just minimize my patronage of Easy Lansing businesses.
