I’ve been eating at the Trowbridge location since 2001, when I was pregnant with my son. That child is now finishing their doctorate at MSU.
I’ve never had an opportunity to live in Lansing but always made it a point to stop through for a togo order when I am nearby. The food is always consistent, fairly priced and above and beyond everything else, delicious!
My order of the last 24 years has involved some combination of the items pictured. The only other thing that I consistently get is a cauliflower wrap. The vegetarian grape leaves, baba ganoush and falafel are also really good. They have so many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items available. Their menu is very clearly labeled.

I love Woody’s Oasis. The employees will give suggestions and do a wonderful job. For $16 you get a combo meal that you can choose 2 sides with. The sides are soup, salads, multiple hummus varieties, etc etc. Ive been getting the chicken schwarma w/rice, garlic hummus, and chickpea feta salad. It also comes with pita bread, enough for 3 meals. The restaurant is also very clean and I watched the staff tidying up between orders . Don’t forget the baklava…chef’s kiss

I love Lebanese food and always go to the same place in Okemos, but after many recommendations, my bestie and I decided to give it a try. We both ordered the chicken shwarma meal combo. I got hummus and lentil soup with mine as well as a meat grape leaf. The lentil soup and grape leaf were delicious and flavorful, unfortunately I can’t say the same for the rest of the meal. The chicken was crumbly and dry and the rice had zero flavor and was not cooked through. The hummus was ok, and the garlic sauce was far from the classic you would expect. It tasted more like garlic mayo. Very underwhelmed after all the hype, neither of us can say we will be returning.

First and foremost the food was OUTSTANDING! The spice in the samosas was just right while still leaving the flavor. I wanted a dozen of them but they only had 11, which was fine. They were different than the samosas I had at another Mediterranean restaurant but none the less, they were still excellent. The spicy chicken shawarma was packed with flavor and was a good size portion. I didn’t want to stop eating it. The rice was perfectly cooked as well and soaked up a lot of the tasty juice from the chicken. My 2 sides for my shawarma were spicy hummus and Greek salad. The hummus was so creamy and delicious. The salad was very good but I was real shocked when I took my first bite and chomped down on an olive pit. Not so pleasant that’s for sure. My daughter got a wrap with spicy hummus and her boyfriend got the gyro. The 2 employees ringing people up were pleasant as well. Woody’s definitely exceeded our expectations and I can see a return trip in our very near future.

Woody’s Oasis was recommended by the staff at Michigan State University vet hospital. This was the first time we visited this restaurant. The counter staff person was friendly, offered menu suggestions and answered all of my questions. She even told me the best way to eat the Falafel wrap! We spent about $27 on two falafel wraps, side dishes and drinks. I spent another $10 on a tray with a variety of desserts. The falafel would have been sufficient by itself – very filling. I would definitely make an hour drive just to come to this restaurant again! The food was delicious!

Nice place to visit. Second time to order from this restaurant and the food was tasty. The mujadara, baba ghanoush and the fries were the best, the main dish was chicken also good. 4 stars for this restuarant. Recommended place to visit or to order from.

I purchased the chicken schawarma with rice combo for $20. I received a 3oz container of chicken, a 3oz container of rice, and a 3 oz container of hummus.
When I called to confirm this was correct, the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and condescending.
I think it’s great food, don’t get me wrong, but the small amount of food you receive is not near the $20 price tag.
