Been trying to get here for a while now. Have read so many good things about their crab cakes. Let me tell you, you will not find a better crab cake!!! No fillers just crab meat! I had the crab cake sandwich and my wife had the softshell crab sandwich both of which were nothing short of amazing! There are so many great places around Dewey definitely put this on your places to go… You won’t be disappointed!!! Oh and get the crab soup as well

They have a pretty good location, right on the beach. I thought the crab cake was okay. It’s definitely more meat than filling, which is want you want. Sandwiches are the go to thing here. I don’t think rest of food is anything special. It’s also pretty pricy and the sandwich is MP. Service was fine, nothing stood out. We sat outside and got to see lots of cars driving by. They did a good job shading the outside seating which was super helpful since no inside seating was available. Cesar salad did not taste like what it looked like which was disappointing to me. Limited parking!!

The service was great. We were sat outside quickly on a saturday afternoon. Not a ton of shade where we were sitting, so make sure you have access to some sun screen if you do sit outside. The crab cakes were great – a lot of meat. The french fries and the cole slaw were ok. MP for the crab cake platter ~ it ended up being around $35 dollars per person, which included 20% tip.

This was the first time we’ve visited Woody’s Dewey Beach and they didn’t disappoint us. I know they are famous with their crab cakes so I ordered the crab cake sandwich with tater tots. The crab cake was all lump crab meat with no filling and delicious! Tater Tots were yummy too! My husband ordered the blackened chicken with their homemade chips and he said both were very good.

Our family loved Dewey’s! They welcomed us and out tiny little dog. We decided to come to Dewey Beach for a mini action. We ordered several appetizers and entrees to include: Mac’n Cheese bites, onion rings, chicken wingettes, Salmon, Seaweed Salad, Ahi Tuna, and more!!! We drank water with lemon and every taste was delicious of the entire meal! Yum! There was plenty of good seating! Our wait time was only 45 minutes! Coming to Delaware? Visi Woody’s !!!

The best crab cakes and crab pretzels! Also, the owner saw me walking up with my mommom, and he put a ramp down so she could get up the curb easier. Then he gave me permission to park my car in his spot. His help was so appreciated. I’ll give a 6 out of 5 stars.

Family hit this place on vacation. They have a great reputation and they buy food from US foods which is a plus for me. US foods sells quality products. My family and I were eager to try this place. As with any real good restaurant, the place was jam packed, hour long wait. Totally understand the staff was overwhelmed a bit because it was so busy…I can understand that and I could overlook a little poor service because of this. It took so long for anyone to get to the table to take drink orders. We all got some water but were hesitant to buy any other drinks on the menu because we knew it would take longer for anything else. We ordered food which included appetizers. My wife got the crab cake which is one of their most popular dishes. The crab cakes and other food definitely lived up to it’s reputation with one exception. Unfortunately I got a chicken sandwich that was almost raw. Took a few bites and it tasted delicious until I saw the raw chicken. The staff took care of it professionally and I appreciated them for doing the right thing. I would have been fine with the whole situation because, I know…I know things happen. It’s just that because it was fresh chicken, there is a high risk of someone getting really sick if undercooked. I asked to speak to the manager about it and I patiently waited for 45 minutes. No show. For this reason I cannot give a higher ranking. Shame because this place was really good.
