Blakeslee, Pocono PA Since 1985, we have been serving the Blakeslee and Poconos area with our quality food and drinks, all while providing a country house feel that is relaxing for both individuals and families. I wanted to love this place….it’s clean, had a wonderful server, strong drinks, and it started out great with a delicious lobster bisque, fresh bread slices, and fresh garden salad. I got a steak that was cheap, bland, tasteless, and tough…hubby got the special of the night Cajun blackened salmon with alfredo shrimp, he like the shrimp the best. He said it wasn’t a bad cut of fish (which it wasn’t) he didn’t care much for the combo of spices plus the Alfredo sauce.

Nice restaurant with nice people. I think the lighting can be improved and that would change the whole dining experience. The dining room is way too bright and so was the bar. Felt a bit cold. We had the wings, ribs and crab cakes. Will give the place another try next time.

Great local food. Live only 10 minutes down the road and have been meaning to stop in. So glad we finally did! Food was excellent, pricing was fair, and service was good! Definitely will be back more often.

Stopped in for lunch on our 4 hr drive home. Food was great and our waitress was phenomenal. Only thing that didn’t sit well was when I walked in with a group of friends and the end of it, the whole bar area got silent and just stared at me… I just continued to my seat and enjoyed my time with my family/crew. I’ve only seen this in movies before and never had experienced this first hand. But minus that, it’s a good place to stop for food!

Great little place with a country atmosphere and the waitress was very nice and helpful. We ordered Salmon salad and a Bacon Chesse Burger. Giving 2 stars because the food took about 25 minutes to get to us. Then my Cheese Burger was very dry. It appeared to be defrosted from the freezer but somehow the freezer burn was cooked. Also you could totally tell that they cooked the Burger on the same surface as the Salmon. This could be considered cross contamination, what if I had a fish allergy. I don’t however I could taste Salmon on my Bacon cheese. Then when I told the waitress about all this. She just said oh my So sorry then brought me the Bill which still had the Burger on there. I was just shocked to see that restaurants in general are doing stuff like this more & more these days!

Comfortable little place just sitting on the side of the road. Ordered the chicken calabrese which had good flavor but the chicken was a little over cooked and dry. The side of linguini with butter garlic was spot on though.
