I placed an order the day before July 4th,2025 from the Florence location. I spent $75 on food to get home and see there were burnt pieces of meat that was turned over because I did look at the food before I left. I live near Torrance, so why go through all of that and drive that distance if food was good? I tried calling but no answer so I returned food about 5 hrs later when I noticed other side. They were very rude the entire time. The short lady with glasses named Pauline from the receipt and the light skinned guy name start with a “C” that was passing out the food. They went back and forth telling me it wasn’t burnt just chard. The guy was holding food over the trash dropping pieces with his fingers without gloves and taking it to the workers that were cooking and preparing the food while they all picked through looking at me while rolling their eyes just as well. A customer asked for the food and they repackaged and sold to him which I couldn’t believe. How disgusting? At that moment, I was so glad I was returning my food because it could have been from someone else’s order as well. Not taking any chances at this point. The taste was old and gave a nasty after taste because it was burnt in my opinion. Customers asked me what was wrong and the cashier was still butting in the conversation to say it wasn’t burnt while rolling her eyes.If the food was good why would they be dropping pieces in the trash? Very deplorable disposition from all of the workers. The worker outside holding closed sign was acting rude trying patronize me on my way out as well. So, your food maybe from a unsatisfied customer home/ car etc for 5 hrs being picked then picked through from the staff without gloves over a trash and sold to you. I will be reporting further not just to the owner because he indeed knows who he hired The entire staff was rude and very unprofessional. I been going to Hillcrest/ Inglewood location for years and never received burnt or even chard food but line was just too long. Believe me the pictures did wonders. Beware of this place.

The place is small but clean. The customer service is SO BAD! The ladies in the front are always RUDE and say anything. She told me that a little chicken lunch came with, so I asked her what about a dinner. She says “what about it?” I just hung up. You can here her talking crap in the background. I refuse to spend money where the customer service is TRASH. Second try. Ill just try one of the many other bbq places in LA.

The Restaurant has been closed and now back open. Looks very nice inside. Food is still delicious. I had slice beef sandwich with a rib tip sandwich mixed sauce and barbecue chicken sandwich. Everything was was delicious. My family was happy, I’m so glad they’ve reopened.

When I arrived here there was only one cashier was trying to a line of guest and about 5 people bagging up the food. When I received my order I checked it right there on the spot and I ordered coleslaw and baked beans and greens let me tell you I opened up the coleslaw it smelt foul spoiled I told the lady behind the counter she rolled her eye and I asked for more beans instead she didn’t try to smell the coleslaw she just gave it back to the cook she didn’t apologize for giving me spoiled food. The greens were old and dry looking but my friend greens looked better than mine. So the sides are prepacked and not fresh the sides were old food nothing is cooked fresh the barbecue ribs were old not fresh at all the chicken sausage my friend had was spoiled she spit it out the barbecue chicken was tough hard to bite into. This whole experience was trash I hated there and it cost me almost 40 dollars I hope the owner check the food expiration time why are they selling old spoiled food this was a horrible experience I just prayed I didn’t get sick I rate this place a 0!! You smell the smoke when you driving by only to be getting old food.

I usually order for takeout and get the beef tips, beef ribs and hot links. For my sides I get the greens and baked beans. So yummy !!!!

Went to the Woody’s on Florence. My potato salad was spoiled. I normally patronize the one in Inglewood. Their food is always fresh. Not going back to the Florence location.
