Woody’s is a rare treat for me as they don’t have many where I’m usually located. I was hungry for their pulled pork sandwich but when I sat down I remembered they have a really good French dip and ordered that instead. I can back the next day for some really good ribs.

Never again will I patronize this establishment. The ribs were dry, the chicken was advertised as BBQ, I received roasted instead. The sausage link was beyond cooked. The Turkey was dry and lunch meat quality. All the vegetables were out of a can, mashed potatoes were instant.

Came in at 6pm on Labor Day. Service was great. Food was fresh and hot. Not bad bbq for a strip joint. Very accommodating of our little crazy boy. The place is huge inside and has very well spaced out tables. Will be back.

If there was an option for negative stars, that would be my selection. My husband and I decided we wanted to try “somewhere new” and this horrific disgrace was the unlucky selection. We arrived at 7:45pm, the door says they close at 9, so we figured we had plenty of time to grab some dinner; obviously that was our first mistake. Upon entering the restaurant we were asked to wait to be helped, it didn’t take long for a woman to walk over and seat our party of five. There were only two other tables in the entire restaurant and it took between seven and 10 minutes to be acknowledged; we asked for three sweet teas, a root beer and a lemonade. I know that sounds trivial, but it comes in later. It seemed as though the server was irritated when I ordered an appetizer, she never told us a name. She didn’t return to the table again until she was bringing the drinks and appetizer when she proceeded to take, the order. We placed out order, and she walked away. About 10 minutes later she came back and let us know they were out of macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, brisket and chicken, so something from the entire table. We ended up ordering our kids chicken tenders and fries, and my husband and I ordered burgers. We both requested medium well, after being prompted for a choice of temperature. Another 15 minutes or so, some of the food came out, and I requested refills, ketchup and mayonnaise. The server brought a bottle of ketchup to the table, dropped it off and grabbed a broom on the other side of the building. I finally flagged her down and barely got, “can we please have some mayo an..” before she rolled her eyes and walked away. We she brought back A SINGLE MAYO PACKET, I once again asked for refills for the sweet tea that had been empty for about a half hour, she huffed her way to the back. She returned empty handed and said, “they already dumped the tea, do you want something else?” We just ended up with faucet water. As far as the food, the fries were so over cooked they weren’t even edible, and the meat was flavorless. We had our fill and sat for 20 minutes before the server returned to the table to ask if we needed something. She brought the check, and had left everything on the bill they were out of. When she returned to take the check, she stated, “I know we’re out of some things, but you got here late.” I told her the door says open until 9, and she again rolled her eyes and walked away. We paid the bill, but will never return to this dumpster of an establishment.

I called to let them know those were the worst 3 pieces of chicken ever. Had to be yesterday’s food. Could not eat it and could not take it back over. Wish I could have shown them how bad it was. Hard, dry and kinda warm. I live 5 minutes away so it did not cool down. Check your to go food.

Nice atmosphere. Very friendly. Low level country music playing in the background and some TVs with sports on them. Great service and the barbeque is very tasty and fair priced. Portions are healthy. Overall a nice local restaurant for a good meal with good service. Family friendly.

I’ve been going to Woody’s for a few yrs. The food and service is always great. Never had a bad experience. Tonight I went with my mom for mother’s day and at the end they gave my mom a mother’s day card that the employees signed. That is going above and beyond.

Woody’s offers a great variety of BBQ meats, such as, chicken, brisket, and pork. Not wanting BBQ they also have salads, wraps, and hamburgers and a great variety of sides to mix and match with them! Not only do they offer great dishes and sides they have an excellent choice of desserts, I recommend the peanut butter chocolate pie! The owner ,Cheryl, goes the extra mile to make sure her customers are satisfied, you don’t like it she will give you something else. Their food is never reheated and made fresh daily. What a great place to eat with friends and family.

We last visited Woody’s Orange City, FL Thur, Feb 16th at 6:45 for dinner. The lady who greeted us said, “you know we close at 7:30?” We said, yes…and jokingly said, “your’e not going to throw us out at 7:30 are you?” She replied, “of course not, but we stop taking food orders at 7.” We sat down and decided what we wanted and nobody came to our table. The tall blonde waitress was literally RUNNING around the restaurant and everyone was looking to see what the fuss was. Then she yelled out, “We’re closed” and RAN up front to turn off the OPEN sign light. Customers came in right after that, she seated them behind us and immediately took their drink order. It’s now 6:55 and we still have not received ANY attention. We felt uncomfortable. For all we can determine, you may as well have closed at 6:30. We walked out and took our business elsewhere. We did NOT want to do this but we felt uncomfortable and ignored. Neither Cheryl or Vincent were there. As we walked out, nobody stopped us to even try to make things right. Our message received was that of relief that they didn’t have to serve us (perception only, of course). I attempted to reach out on Facebook to Cheryl but it’s an automated response. We have not been back since 🙁
